I've got to buy them all first. :)

I might as well get these in early.
"I'm sorry, I have trouble with these cars, I have trouble with these tracks, I have trouble with this game." I think that should cover it. :P
Aaaaah, so you're fine with the tyres then?

Our Subaru WRX Gr.4 liveries from last week.

Did laps and I can safely conclude that (at least in my hands) the DB11 is going to be hell regardless of what track it goes to. Brakes seem like they barely work and it feels like crawling around is the only way not to have a tank slapper. It's the TVR all over again, only you die more slowly and thus get to really take in your inevitable demise.

My decals - all ones from the provided, in-game set - all look mince in anything near close range. Can't work out why.
Yeah, the ingame decals suck, especially if you make them smaller.

The BMW logo on the left is the inagme one. The other 2 are ones I have saved. The letters are also the ingame ones.

Early(ish) notice just in case anyone is on standby.

I'll give tonight a miss. I haven't got around to buying the cars and therefore not got around to any testing. So to prevent me being more of a hazard than usual I'll pass on this round. Although I might already be beyond my skill level. I still think I peaked with the the karts and the Keis.

Have a good one. 👍

*Famine doesn't like this*

No server issues for me today.

I will give it a shot. I'll need to be careful of the Sports M tires and weight. A few arcade races this morning got be comfortable with that.

Probably overconfident from last week. I peaked at Gr.4, I think.

I coded my car colors so I don't forget which to use. :D

So this wasn't completely a death fest. Car choices for the track for me went like this:

Dodge Viper at Fuji: I knew right from memory that this could be a suitable given my previous experience in the car and I was right, I just was unaware of HOW good it was gonna be against other two having not previously driven either prior to last night and today. While its not as sharp as the GT-R NISMO and it can get abit rowdy, its pretty manageable to me and there is plenty of fast sections for it to make up for that along with the straightaway.

Aston Martin DB11 at Monza: First laps in this car and I automatically ruled it out for Interlagos. Like I mentioned before, the car just feels like it barely brakes and hardly turns. With the Viper already decided for Fuji and Interlagos immediately decided as not happening, Monza was gonna be the track to take the L and it was worth it for the next race.

Nissan GT-R NISMO at Interlagos: Having done no laps here in this car here but having already driven the Aston, I decided right then and there the GT-R was what I wanted to use. While I am shocked to find that the Viper was actually competitive with this in the corners (A sentence I never thought I would utter), the result justified my gut instinct.

Overall, great fun (Once you remove Monza and the Aston). Strategy was interesting to see throughout the field and it made things interesting (As if they already weren't with us in general )

Interested in seeing how people adapt to driving a car with no shifting at all.

Really enjoyed tonight's racing. Glad to get a win at Fuji mainly from picking the right car, made the most of the DB11 at Monza, and had some good battles at Brazil. Few snaps and vids below - first vid is the last-minute avoidance from Monza, the second vid (and the final pic) the absolute panic braking into turn one at Brazil

Perhaps I'm getting older than I think, but these races are absolutely exhausting

I took too long to get going properly in the Viper, so had to settle for third. I was doing okay in the DB11, but got killed by the worst unghosting I've ever seen (@AndreasR will agree; he was ghosted the whole time he was crashing, then unghosted for about a fifth of a second as his car came across the track in front of me). I don't get on with Interlagos, and the GT-R was not the best car to not get on with it in

I feel Formula E should be this car. I believe it's real. :D

Check out these special details -
  • In Gran Turismo Sport's Livery Editor, the car's number cannot be changed, and the wheel color are changed from the Other section, rather than from the Wheels section. As a result, it is possible to add custom decals to the wheels, being the only car to have such ability.
  • In GT Sport version 1.62, the car now features rear-wheel steering, a change that also applied to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991) '16.

Well, that would be much closer to being something remotely "Formula".

As for the cars though, tried a few laps last week and the Model S absolutely has nothing for the Taycan. Better on acceleration AND handling makes a huge difference between these two so having only 1 for everyone feels more feasible then having these two face each other as the deficit I feel is a it too big to be overcome.

It's definitely Taycan only, but - in part because I forgot about the passage of time, and in part because GTS's servers are having an absolute fit right now - it might be best to postpone this week.

Will you race with us using your PS5 from now on @Jordan ? :D

I was at the store yesterday asking about the second wave of 5's and if I could pre-order from that batch yet. I wasn't so lucky as his answer was a definite no.

Ok so it wasn't just me encountering some weird activity going on (the constant need to reconnect after exiting being one particular annoyance.)
