GT Photomode 2.0 Competition - Week 93 - Closed

Oh sweet mother of all that is good and holy......

I am speechless...

edit...I just noticed that the noise gives it a pearlescent effect. This only adds to the  and  factor.

NO...

Not that I have any chance against it, but I would like to give it a try...;)

Great shot from the side skirt back and the middle of the roof down. Unfortunately, the front bumper/wheel area is very rough and the roof is a bit below the amazing quality of the rest.

Alex must be watching too much car porn to perfect this shot.
It's like he masters a crappy photo with every single possibility. NUTS!!!
It seems like everyone trying their best to impress bram. That's pretty amazing, even Slipz showing up!

That's great work Lds 👍

The car has been cleaned very well, and all the surfaces seem very clean and even. Watch out with some polygonal edges though, some pixels are sticking out so try to round those parts. Also, don't fill those bodylines too much, they're a little too dark I think. Personally, I never fill them up to more than 20%. But aside from the bodylines and the edges, this is a mighty clean entry 👍

Thanks Bram and Skyline. Yes, I know, I always have a problem with the edges. I am still figuring out how to make them look good. I used a bit of smudge, but I don’t like the looks of it.

I'm having just the same problems as you Lds, and I think I might have found a way to get edges away. You know when cleaning up wheel fenders? Instead of clicking the area with the lasso tool, I think drawing a path with the ellipse tool, and than transform that selection to follow the entire wheel fender could be an option. I'm going to try out some new stuff I've found on the internet this weekend 👍

I normally use the pen tool, has it is quicker and more precise than lasso, and allot more easier to work with. I have to start experimenting more with things and try what you said, even though I am not quitte getting. But the same problem of the wheels goes with the outline of the whole car. Even though I used the smudge tool a minimum (10% strength) I don’t like the results of it.

Well what a Christmas Week it has been here at the good ol' 2.0 . Some amazing shots, and I must say:

Competition Closed

also don't forget to thank Santa for the brushes that you used to clean with!
