See that's the difference btw you and me a actual drag racer I practice using jegs Christmas tree. Sportsman for those long ghosters and pro tree for the quick ghosters lol. Same arithmetic just on a game and controller.

Reaction time is improved through practice. Its called muscle memory.

Here is a long, uninteresting explanation.

"Your brain tracks movements through hand and eye coordination. As you practice something over and over, your brain is sending signals back and forth and creates a "file" so to speak of your activity thus allowing you to get better and better through repetitive practice. Your hand and eye become accustomed to what you are doing through this brain activity and you memorize the repetitive steps which causes you to get better."




However practice will only get you so far... Inherent reaction time ability, controller configuration, tv type and size, internet, location in relation to the server and the ghoster, ect are equally important, if not more

To answer your other question about how to practice (even if it was rhetorical) You can sit in the grass off to the left of the track and practice there, or practice on the ghost of the people in front of you as you are in line

Im currently at 9.722 but the best I've seen is 9.721 by Dream and DOM
