The thing is, speeds etc give everything away. We talked about the way you wanted it, we came to the conclusion after numerous testing methods that the way we originally showed it ie: still in the run, could not be faked because like anyone who knows, like we pointed out, like Mikeybc pointed out, you see everything in the one video. No matter which video you watch, you see evrything that you need to see to prove it's no fake. The only thing really achieved by the most recent video is that if I don't see my shift points like I normally do which meant what is considered a large amount of difference between the .004 run and the .007 run. At this point we are happy to show anything but gear speeds, that is what separates our times from most others.

Well you guys need another "meeting" because I'm not posting until you do so.

I will post as one big update sunday and probably friday, packing up for college this week.

So now you're saying my GT-R time is not going on the board after you said it was and I jumped through all those hoops? I hope your not still on the case of brakes or whatever like the other thread, why would I show you all the telemetry on the 9.004(where you can see I did not use brakes or handbrake) run but then only submit a 9.007 if I used the brakes or any of that silly stuff?

Are you going to be keeping the database up to date? Otherwise someone that doesn't have any planned long term interruptions should maybe start a new one that is more organised with some more experienced people in their group of people that validate runs and maybe aren't all buddys that race and tune together on a daily basis. A bit more of a structured approach may be achieved.

EDIT: soorrrrrry maaaaate!:lol: You didn't mention the Neon in the post 'not posting until I do'. Miscommunication right there.

My posts aren't stopping you mate, all you gotta do is go back to when you last updated and check from there, doesn't seem to difficult especially if you have like 5 people that help you validate times.

Firstly, If you hadn't been banned during the last patch, you would know this is actually being updated more frequently than previously ( and that was by the mods ). Sure its not perfect, but what is these days.
Secondly, I didn't see anyone else putting their hands up to take on the role. So cut the guy some slack.

I certainly hope your not suggesting you and your team make and control a new leader board. For some strange reason I get the feeling your not going to find many contributors.

Maybe you should have put your hand up since you had so much time to wait for others to 'catch up'. Let's see how long it takes you to 'catch up' to the times I post.

Be happy it's updated as often as it is, the 2.04 leaderboard averaged an update once every 2 months or more and nobody complained either.

You're happy to post times and belittle not just one person but EVERYONE, but you won't even put your hand up to contribute to something you helped structure inadvertently? I had a quick little squiz through your posts and you don't seem to post anything contributing other than what is already known as common knowledge. Seems a bit elitist(which i'm sure you are not) to me. Haven't seen any videos from you? So what's different between me and you?

EDIT: I never said I have a problem with the way things are done now, but if he isn't going to be here for i'm guessing, an extended period of time and have things more important like studying to do, then maybe it should be redone by someone else, as like you state there have been recent patches and the database seems very thin as in variety of cars up there so now is the best time for someone to be on the ball, collecting times for the present as we never know if this is the current build/patch that will be permanent.

And your right, I don't post any help in a public forum. I don't think its appropriate.
I don't want people getting called out about there tunes, simply because I give them some advice. So I keep it to PM's.
And I certainly dont expect them to put their hands up and admit it just for your sake

I said before, and I guess I got to say it again. Im not a pro, just a dude who moves some sliders around.

I don't complain about times being updated when I want. I know Mazda has other things to do in his life.

Did I ever mention me being away for an extended period of time??? Obviously I knew I needed to make time for this thread and college. I wouldn't have made this database if I was'nt sure.

Do me a favor know your facts before you present them.
 
Stop replying to that guy. He won't reply to himself. Just ignore him he can go post on his leaderboards. Just dont reply to this guy.

Never stated them as facts mate, I just thought and said that 'going away to college' SEEMS like and SOUNDS like 'going on a holiday'.

1. Dont mute the tv
2. No cockpit driving
3. Show your display while doing the run 0-60 0-100 etc etc

Not posted as don'ts so maybe you need to update the rules when you update the times. Just an idea I thought of that will help.

When I looked at the video I noticed. On the main page when you click the setting sheet that the lines of your tranny was identical to mine. A 160-161 trans flip. So I figure it is one of three things.

1. Suspension(unlikely)
2. Glitch/Hack to get more HPs. Cause to have a 0-60 time of anything lower than a 1.780 is going to take away from the pull on the GTR V-Spec.
3. E-Cheat which couldn't achieve because when I tried to set my first gear to even be able to e-cheat without it bogging, it also took away from my pull.

I don't know exactly what you are doing but being some genius kid/over weight who never gets any sun albino who figured out a way to hack/cheat the system still doesn't make it legit. Why do you think you only run online with your buddies, cause you can only hack the offline physics/car. BTW still waiting for the invite to your lounge... That would put an end to all of this!!!
