Yeah. I haven't touched that thing in about 6 or 7 months now.

I'd love to get it in the 8s, but I don't know.

I got my aventador by stepping back, and just drifting online for awhile and going back to it.

Yes well done thats a great blk scrn launch time. I remember when I first started tuning mine. It wasnt at all like the gt-r. The gt-r tune method wasn't working aswell on this car. You have to experiment with this car bit more than gt-r's if your new to them to get them at their quickest. I've had 8:993 out of mine but no pic. I'm trying to pull the time again but car frustrates me and it embarrased me in front of evilninja and xXOPTIC_GUNERXx. It just needs detuning 2nd gear though. To get these cars to their quickest you have to be prepared to cry on speedtest with HUUUUUGE bog and thousands of launches to get it perfect. I hate it I hate. Speed 12 was easy compared to this and that's saying something. I think some people would agree that's :crazy: hard (ish)

There's plenty left in it as I only have 100 miles in it.

Make a tune that quick shifts to second like a rear wheel drive car, then you'll get closer to their times and 8 seconds, I guarantee it. The 'bog' is only because he's trying to tune it like a GT-R.👍

Ill have to try it out tomorrow. Gave up on gt5 for tonight.
Been on it ALL day lol

Just for a laugh, my Fast & Furious riced out Eclipse with a GT wing for that extra 50hp yo!! The only problem with it is it occasionally fries piston rings, and I have to be careful with that 100shot of NOS as the intake welds are starting to get a little weak

In all seriousness this car could probably get a lot faster with a serious tune, I just found it funny even in this riced out state it still beats DC5's  well in route X times at least i'm not sure if it fairs so well when online.

Yo!!!!! I can see the green washers on the ground sitting next to it, LOL. Now me and the mad scientist are gonna have to rip apart the engine and replace those piston rings you fried.

It does well online, I like bringing mine out now and then to piss them off and hoping I don't get kicked.

I thought i would settle for a middle place between dream00 and janco. o.0

Nice going mate. Looks like I'll have to retune. I'll aim for 9.579 when I start to feel better, cbb playing PS3 atm.

Ok just a quick question I was wondering about. We banned Retro launching from this leaderboard because it did not work online and wasnt a true tune correct? It only worked offline is that why it was Banned?

Pretty much.. You can retro some times online though if your luck. Iv done it in my zr1 rm be mistake, just lines up an took of in 1st thinking i was in 2nd, was like wtf ok... Lol

Ok so is this why mazda? He is the owner per se of this thread so i want to make sure with him. So is that why?

Also thats your regular tune not a retro tune.

Can't find the last 0.001 in this to tie up with Janco, but looks like im not the only one lol, let alone finding 0.004 to match Karo's 9.294 time on the other site

I get a 9.313 in auto. Lil less in manual. 9.2s are crazy hard to get into.

Great tune

Well my regular tune runs 9.134 an after that happened online I went and tested the same tune, same gears an retro launch it an got a 9.120.

Same go with my zr1 2nd I get 9.260, if I retro I get 9.254

I'd be quite interested to know why it's banned here now too, we used to be able to use it on the old leader board. And as everyone knows speed test tunes and times are pretty irrelivant for online drag racing.

Edit, I feel like stating this for no reason other than so people can understand what I consider to be retro launching, i'm not sure if there is truely an "official" definition or just everyones own interpretation.

If a car CAN NOT be launched full throttle in 1st gear and shift into 2nd without shift lag but it can be timed launched and quick shifted into 2nd then it's a retro launch doesn't matter if you have 2nd gear fully to left or not.
If a car CAN launch full throttle in 1st and shift into 2nd without shift lag, but is faster with a timed launch and a quick shift into 2nd then it's a quick shift.

PS: Thank you MisterEads

I know what you mean macer, but I wouldn't like to see retro launch on this board just my opinion :) I'd rather see what people really run if you get me :)

I never thought about the shift lag part, but I do agree with what you have said, this is the main issue I think, plenty of people here would have used that technique but not had to shift as fast as the retro launch. I even do similar to this sometimes where I shift up a gear(or two or even three) within .100 of launching, but after being shown a video of the retro launch a few days ago his shift is way way faster than mine.
