Damn, thought that was Eng's car going slowly for a moment... I'm not holding out a huge amount of hope that I'll see a BMW win this.. but, I'd like it if we could keep all the cars in the race at least!

#51 With a rear left puncture.

Been a relatively "quiet and steady" start to the race so far, but maybe I was expecting things to be more hectic at the start. Lot's of great little battles forming , #30 NSX is up to 38th as well, so all good so far.

It really is, everyone still so close to each other. Thiim in the #76 Aston hasn't been hanging around, good progress, up to 27th from the back of the grid.

Leading #2 Audi in the pit's for the first stop as well.

Edit: FCY, looks like someones gone off at raidillon.

Yep, #89 Mercedes it'd seem, looks like it's gone off quite heavily (mind it's never a small one if you go off at Raidillon), fair bit of front end damage.

#72 facing the wrong way. Puncture too.

Edit: That safety car period has really shuffled the pack big time, #114 Lexus and #23 Nissan the biggest beneficiaries, which is good stuff. Not so good for the #62 which has dropped way back to 21st or so.

@20832 Mckay in the #97 Aston went off and into the barriers, not sure what corner as I missed the incident, but that's what caused the safety car I believe.

Also, #58 Mclaren with a left puncture, and #63 Lambo with a fair bit of body damaged, not sure if the too connected.

Is it a requirement of the series that if bodywork that contains the car number is damaged that you have to put the car number on the replacement parts? Because that was just more work the #63 Grasser crew had to do to get the new parts ready.

Been coming to and from this and highlights of F1 quali, and I come back see one of the Lexus' had a puncture, what happened :(.

Off track excursion, though I don't think we saw if it was the cause of or an effect of the tyre going down. Long drive back to the pits for him.

Damn, and judging by the timing screens I presume it was the leading #114 that suffered the puncture?

At least there still there, thereabouts in 7th, and the #23 Nissan still sitting strong in 3rd. #30 NSX still seems to be going ok, know it dropped back a bit earlier after it's penalty, but so far steady.

Out of curiosity, who are you paying $3 a month to? It's not blocked here in the UK, but I have friends in the states struggling to watch it.

edit: Apparently its not Blocked in the USA on the Blancpain Website.

I'm watching it on you tube. Gtworld has it blocked in US. I think I go through private internet Access vpn

You can watch it on the Blancplain GT website? Is that geolocked as well?

I must say, that the new Bentley is quite the looker, it still looks like a Continental, but just smartly modernized!

Yea official stream on the Blancpain site has been solid so far.

Not sure whereabouts in the UK you are, but our dry spell has definitley been broken! Torrential rain and kick ass Thunder!... the downside is my internet connection seems to be going to poo.

Was about to say actually, it's been solid in the past hour or so, but it was really quite shaky earlier. Though I think that may have been more my laptop suffering with a dodgy wifi-connection, as it seem's to drop out every so often when there's something more bandwidth intensive as of late.

So far so good though, touch-wood.

I'm cheering for the #100 JoinTheBelgians Aston Martin. They're a great bunch of guys, with a great fanbase! 👍

Such a good shot as the cars fly into Eau Rouge, with the way the cars bottom out under compression, and at night it looks that more spectacular with the sparks chucked up being more visible.
