They brought the CTS to the UK... we weren't quite ready for it, despite having had Alfa Romeo here for many years. My friend bought one - beautiful car that spent 3 of the first 6 months back in the dealership with various electrical problems including unlocking itself at night and switching off while driving... then the diff exploded at 15,000miles and he didn't want a replacement . Beautiful cars but mechanically/electrically poor unless you buy a high-end one, apparently. And, like many American cars, even the bulbs are manufacturer-only.
