Question, Dodge has pulled it's TUSCC GTE/LM program from Riley, I sadly presume that the Viper GT3-R customer program is also cancelled? :(
I don't think so as iirc is privately owned there not owned by dodge although it would put an extra cost to the owner to develop it.

The Viper GTD has nothing to do with Dodge. It's funded by Ben Keating and Riley. They're not going anywhere as far as I know :)

At least then the privateer Vipers live on. :) Sorry to see the Vette/Viper rivarly end again in GTE/LM (and back in the early 2000's GTS) though. :(

I'm just paraphrasing Keating's thoughts on the subject.
Ben Keating
Without having the factory there, I will lose the political clout that exists among manufacturers. That’s extremely significant in a series where you have a bunch of different makes racing against each other.

Because we did well at several races and generally qualified well, we have a big target on our back. Without having a manufacturer there to argue the points [in BoP]…. Without SRT there, I can only expect it to become more expensive and more difficult.
Riley has little clout without a major manufacturer backing them. Riley built and developed the GTE Vipers (and I assume the GT3-R as well), but it was commissioned and funded by the Chrysler Group. Riley are simply an intermediary. They can provide continue to provide new parts for GT3 customers, but they can't replace Dodge/SRT when it comes to Mr. Keating's principal concerns.

No doubts they won't have Chrylser paying to get better BoP. That'll be the only way they get hurt. I see them doing very well though. As big a part of the series as Riley is, they won't short them too much.

Any chances Keating paints his Viper in red with white stripes? Then all we need is a GTD Corvette. :P

Also, seems like K-Pax will be deciding on whether they buy the upgrade kit, or buy brand new, the Mclaren 650S GT3 for PWC.

I want to see a new Cadillac ATS GT3/D customer program. That, the BMW M6, new McLaren 650S, and others really make the GT3 field second to none

It's that time!

It was an Alpina B6, was a big V8 not a V10 like in the M6.

I wonder if Liqui Moly have asked any Super Taikyu teams to join in. Spoon have a few cars that would be cool to see on the mountain.

Someone already bought it lol. Course not like I had £330,000…

The Bathurst 12hr field reminds me of the Nurburgring 24hr field, I like it! :D
