This...this is a great thing!!!!PWC gets closer to the Blancpain series style of sprint racing. http://www.racer.com/pwc/item/11726...ge-sprint-x-gt-championships-starting-in-2016
Yeah and most of them will be on the same playing field in terms of experience with pitstops. Besides with the proper FIA/SRO pitstops things will go smoothly. The grid sizes at some of these combined events will just be loony!Sprint-LX-GT series would actually mean something (LX for 60 minutes), but whatever it is called the closer the PWC and SRO can get the better off they will be. Adding a simple pit stop into the race should not be a issue for the teams.
The World Challenge has been around for a long time, I used to watch it heavily in the SPEED World Challenge days:It's great that they are going to that format. I just wish American series' could be better at names.
I remember watching it as a kid, mainly from 2006-2010. Really cool variety of cars. Always liked the home built Corvette's and the 4-door Cadillac CTS-V's.The World Challenge has been around for a long time, I used to watch it heavily in the SPEED World Challenge days:
Ah the good 'ol days.
Finding a bunch of on-board videos from as far back as 2005, but no actual race broadcasts. Can anyone throw a link up to one of those races from youtube, can only find races from 2011 and newer,

Ohhhh, heck yeah! I was watching SWC when RTR ran the first gen integras with Mugen wheels. The best racing series back in the mid 90s. Next to Super Tourers and Pobst in the Neuspeed Accord.
Actually, I bought and installed Neuspeed Springs from Rapid Parts, on my 16V Jetta after watching a race. It was all so simple then...
Cars were so much simpler in the 90's? You should have been around in the 60's, early 70's 👍
