Unless you're winning a lot early on, there seems to be a minimum race count, yes. And also a maximum. The maximum seems to be five.

Alright. Well I finished my 5th overall race yesterday. So hopefully today I'll see it finally move.

Just seen this thread so posted here for consolidation.

Just won the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat '15 in the daily and decided to take it out for a spin. Time Trial on Dragon, Auto box but with Racing Super Soft as that is what I use to compare lap times. Well the track came up in the background and there was an odd engine noise sound from the car lapping in the background. Did not think too much of it and selected start. That is when it all went a little strange. The Hellcat was revving its engine up and down about 500 rpm as I accelerated. As I got onto the straight in 4th gear I kept the accelerator steady about mid position and the engine continued to rev up and down about 500 rpm. It was very, very odd. I thought that maybe it was to do with traction control but I exited, turned it off completely and restarted. Same issue. It was so obvious that I wondered why others had not noted it (as least could not find mention here). So I tried some road tires and the effect was much less obvious. It was still there but not so strong. You might not notice it now unless you were looking for it. Back to Race Super Soft and full on revving issue. Tried manual rather than auto as thought that might be an issue too but no difference still revving.

Now I have not noticed this issue on other cars but do wonder if there is a more general bug in the physics not limited to the Hellcat that other cars will also have but be less obvious and it is only the Hellcat's engine characteristics that make it standout.

Please do try this out for yourself if you have the Hellcat. Key seems to be putting Racing Super Soft on it to get the effect as noticeable as possible.

This is happening to me randomly. The acceleration is fluctuating even though my throttle is completely pressed. I'm using a G27 w/ a cronusmax btw.

This probably has to do with your cronusmax, didn't heard a lot of good things on them. If it's not, then your pedal set is faulty, but you'll be able to test that on a PC.

I don’t know if this counts but my game hard crashes to the PS4 menu when a Sport mode race started... which meant I had to eat another 20mins to get into another race...

1. Replay of a Lobby race shows SH tires on my friend’s car when he said he had fitted RM and I had Lobby restrictions which forced RM max and min. SH is the default for both of the cars we used. The replay shows my car having RM. Based on the performance and tune of my friend’s car, I believe it had RM tires, I suspect it’s a bug in replay.

2. Replay of the start of the same race showed my car making lots of tire smoke. Pressing “pause” (so I could take a photo) made smoke disappear. It reappeared when I “unpaused”. Eventually after playing around with rewind , play, pause and frame advance quite a lot, I got the smokey shots I wanted.

I was awarded a Merc AMG for today's "workout"

It has no picture in the garage, even after putting it through the livery editor and restarting the game.

All the text is good, just missing the picture

Hey, I just did some daily races today (in the Asia region) and some guy managed to go 7 seconds faster than the WR. It was really fishy because it was on the first lap too, so I checked the replay, and this guy just waits on the 1st lap, then goes past the line in front of us. At the end, he's not on his final lap but it still counts him as "finished". Is this a glitch needed to be patched? Or just a cheater?

I'm at the start of a Custom Race and a message comes up to free up 5MB of disk space if I want to save the replay.

I don't exit the race, since I know I have plenty of space, and 5 MEGAbytes is a paltry amount

After a 5 laps of Suzuka East race (i.e., not long), I can't even view the replay, let alone save it.

Actual amount of disk free space is well over 300 GIGAbytes

Error code: E-8055A800
All custom liveries, decals, replays, scapes and all race photos gone.

Credits stuck on 393 million plus. Miliege stuck on 3800

I just started with this issue after the latest patch update. Spent a few hours with Sony, they have no idea, stating that this is the first time the came across this issue. Quoted by Jose the supervisor who tried to help.

Currently I have 393 million and cannot go into the daily race in sport mode. All other facets of the game works.
Here goes 300 hours of time, liveries, scapes all gone.
Error code is; E-8055A800.

This glitch started sometime during the first week of release, I'm just now getting frustrated enough to make an account here and post in hopes of it ACTUALLY being fixed within the next updates.

This glitch involves the game resetting the driving settings I choose. Any scenario leaves me needing to change the setting EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I enter a course, no matter which button I choose to do it. My settings are remembered after exiting the course, but only after having been on the track first to change them. They are STILL reset in this case if I choose to make an entry back on track. Every game mode, any car, any race. The "default" settings that it resets to are Automatic trans, (tires and TC are unaffected, working properly by choosing from the car's saved settings sheet) all aids off, 0 controller sensitivity and 1 for both wheel settings. The glitch is unaffected by controller type. Changing the settings before entry obviously doesn't work. The only driving setting menu is in a lobby/before a race, so there can't be anything that I'm missing. I've probably rechanged my settings over 2000 times since the glitch started happening just so I can play the game I payed money for. Hopefully you understand how frustrating this is when I have to do it constantly while playing.

TL;DR:

Make Entry and Enter Course reset my driving settings EVERY time.
Settings have to be changed after making an entry in order to use them.
In addition, entering a qualifying session and transferring into the race does the same thing.
PS4 Pro, PSN: The-Grand-Thief

Other than this one HORRIFIC glitch, the rest of the game is amazing and I definitely don't plan on getting rid of it

I' am a t300 gt edition user and I noticed that the accelerator is not working well with my pedal but with the gamepad everything is fine. I've also tested the pedals and wheel on assetto.corsa and everything is working fine. Could be a bug problem? I'm really scared

Have they not caught up with this guy yet:banghead:

Not sure if this was a thing before, but I noticed when you have multiple cars in a scape, switching between them resets the individual car's settings. Mainly the brake lights and turn signals turning off when you swap between cars in the scapes.

I'll try this tomorrow, but going over even small bumps at speed does induce minor wheelspin which causes engine fluctuations.

Is there a Issue why i cannot upload any race replays anymore? - tried deleting temporary files and also google dns...but still, cannot upload

Im starting to think alot of these bugs have o do with the Hard drive model your ps4 has. I haven't had a single bug and im running GT sport on a high-speed external drive.

Not a bug per se but PD have the concept Nova listed as a naturally aspirated car, i do believe it has a supercharged v8 under the hood.

Found a ( minor ) bug in GT menue / My menue concerning the 'Total prize money' calculation. The respective 'achievement' is calculated wrong as well.
'Total prize money' should sum up all the credits you get from racing, which works perfect. However, if you sell a car, revenues get added there too.
There's no actual disadvantage of course, anyway, it's a bug and I thought to post this here.

PS
No idea if somebody reported this already - no way to read through that gazillion of bug threads existing atm.
Would be nice if this one gets revived somehow.

I don't think this is a bug as much as it is a programming error on the part of PD.

When setting a weight restriction in a lobby, the setting enforces it as a maximum allowed weight as opposed to a minimum allowed weight. This is backwards from most, if not all, racing series in the world. Most racing series have rules that contain a minimum weight.

Example of how the setting in GTS works: If I set the weight limit to 3000 lbs., I can take a car that weight 2900 lbs. and enter the race. If I take a car that weights 3100 lbs., I am denied entry based on the weight of my car.

This is backwards from most racing series and it's backwards from the setting that was in GT5 and GT6. If PD has a good reason for changing this then I'd love to hear it. If, as I suspect, it's a simple programming error, it should be a simple fix that can be taken care of in the next patch.

I agree. I hope they fix this.

You're right of course, it's the programming - my bad. Anyway, if we want false weight restrictions or prize money calculations to be fixed, PD needs to know ... and this is a good place to show them 👍.
