In a lobby session with a friend I used a previously unused car for every race.

For the first three or so races, the odometer showed zero at the start of each race. Later in the session the odometer began to work normally, incrementing during the race and carrying previous race totals over.

The screen will shut off (always in loading screens) and the ps4 will instantly turn off. on reboot it goes into safe mode and scans the data to see what want wrong and every time it ends up back tracking 5/6 hours of game time. this is so common its happening every other day. has anyone had this/any advice on fixing it.

The last one just kicked 2m, 40k miles, 9 levels and 25 cars out of my garage so im pretty pissed at it.

Crashed on me when the final race countdown reached 0. I submitted the crash report. Nice that my SR and DR rating went down for a game crash. The race didn't even start yet.

Server communication issue when trying to upload replays from time to time. No obvious reason as to why some upload OK and some don't.

I found a glitch where when I was in a time trial in my VW Bus, the ghost car's steering wheel is under the side of the car and not in the car. Here's a screenshot. the steering wheel can be seen between the front and rear wheels on the right side only

I don't have time to read all this thread but has anyone noticed a glitch where lapped cars will move up to their corresponding position on the track once the race has been won? For example, I was coming 8th today and the cars ahead of me were 17th and 16th and I was about to lap them or would have if it were a longer race. The race was won and all of a sudden they took the 8th and 9th spots in front of me and I was bumped to 10th. One of them even had a 3 second penalty and I had none. Pretty unfair lol.

Damn, that sounds really bad, man. Hope it gets fixed, that has got to be CRAZY frustrating

The BMW i3's power plant can be upgraded to unrealistic amounts of power, however the transmission limits the top top speed and can't be adjusted. Not sure if this is a bug or a feature.

I've got this for 2 days now - I had daily workout at about 102km and when leaving GT mode (when I should recieve gift car) game just stuck (spinning save wheel for couple of minutes)
Now every time when I start game I have daily workout already at this 102km, and when make a distance in any mode that should grant me a free car for daily workout game stuck again in the same way - just spinning save wheel, and I have to restart game...
Anyone have something similar?

BUG: Time Driven Achievement -- Does not increment when Race is paused.

In the past few days I have done 3 long races: 10 laps around Nürburgring 24h, 20 laps around Nordschleife, and the 60-minute Endurance race on the Nürburgring GP. Each at least 1 hour of driving. None of them have been accounted for in the Time Driven Achievement, as far as I can tell. They do appear in the Distance Driven chart on the profile. So the races were accounted for, but the Time Driven Achievement did not register them.

I suspect that the bug lies somewhere around Pausing the race. In all 3 races, I paused the race. When I resumed the races, the dashboard counter continued to count the elapsed time, but at the end of the race, the Time Driven Achievement counter did not reflect the race time. (It did not reflect race time even after restarting the PS4.)

Bug #1

Sometimes when I try to create a new lobby the loading process begins then I get booted back to the lobby screen. I cannot create a new lobby unless I close the application and reopen when it happens.

Bug #2

The weight limit in online lobbies is a maximum weight limit and not a minimum weight limit so if I select a limit of 2000lbs and I don't have a car that is under that weight I cannot enter whereas it's supposed to be that I can't enter a car under 2000lbs

Bug #3

I've switched my race BGM off and sometimes when I'm in a lobby and I go out to do some practice laps the music remains on.

This happened to me as well. For me the cause was a tripped surge protector. I had a large watt load due to a recent addition and suspect the PS4 started to pull more power during intensive processor activity. Mine occurred once during load screen and once mid race just as multiple cars were piling up. I removed the high watt load and have not yet had a recurrence.

I think the pitstops cause the game to lose track of cars of label them incorrectly.

Is it a bug? I don't know. Is it an issue? Depends who you ask.

I've played far too much Gran Turismo over the last 20 years and this doesn't seem right to me.

In summary. A thread was started by a number or posters who had issues with the Renault RS01 GT3 in one specific place - the hairpin at Suzuka. Having found this issue too, I found this thread hoping to find a solution. Sadly there wasn't one so I embarked on some testing myself and used input from various friends and posters to help zero in on the issue.

Test Conditions:-
BoP On - Issue seen in daily races and FIA event
Default settings for "Expert" (I have switched ASM on/off when exploring the issue)

I have tested this issue repeatedly driving back and forth around the hairpin using various approaches in terms of line, speed, gear, throttle, brake and steering applications. I have incremented and turned on and off the various aids available as part of this.

Video of issue being seen:

Notes from video:
This is one example of many I could use, the issue is similar under various conditions.
In this example I approach at race speed using normal braking points and lines. As you can see from the video I pick up the throttle early with a small application and the car spins.
You can see on the video that even a light throttle application causes TCS to cut in mid corner after which point the whole throttle bar flashes red.

Findings:
The issue is real and I can repeat it at will.
Following testing I can also switch it on and off.
The issue can be contained by use of ASM but at the cost of overall lap time.
The issue is exacerbated by tyre wear which would have an obvious effect on traction, grip and in-game physics and TCS.

My thoughts on this:
I believe there is an issue with the RS01 GT3, specifically related to the interaction between it and the driver aid TCS which, when set at Level 2 or above, cuts the power leaving the car susceptible to spinning due to the basic physics model and/or the diff setting. Once TCS is triggered releasing the throttle, accelerating or braking will have the effect - the rear end breaks away.

Given that it only happens in this specific hairpin the issue may also be triggered by the camber profile of this corner.

Further testing:
To validate this theory, I have repeatedly run with the TCS set at 1 or 0 (All other settings per "Expert default" i.e. no ASM) and found the car takes the corner more consistently. See video below where I deliberately throw the car in and am sharper on the throttle to invoke the issue and it does not occur. TCS cuts in, but the lower setting isn't so intrusive as to cut the power to trigger the problem.

Call it a bug, a characteristic, an issue, a glitch whatever - I personally think it shouldn't happen and there's a code issue which causes this to happen and could be fixed.

Here's a fun one. If you select any colour other than red/white or light green/white for your specially provided Samba bus in GT Sport Daily Races, the colour of the vehicle in the settings tab/bottom-right corner is wrong.

If you pick grey/white, it shows you a red/black car. If you pick blue/white, it shows you a grey/white car. If you pick yellow/white, it shows light green/white. If you pick turquoise/white it shows you light green/white.

So, in today's Lago Maggiore GR3 daily, I decided to run the RC-F. I was pretty pleased with a 1:57:1 qualifying. I started 3rd for the race in the video (the two guys in front were on 1:56.8's). HOWEVER, in both the video clip, and the previous race, after being in (back to back) podium battles, my pit crew let me down. In the first race, I was upset, but thought it was an isolated incident and a potential random factor gone wrong. Then, it happened again, but worse, in the second race.

The pit crew just SITS THERE for five whole seconds. I mean, I like the idea of a random factor, but IMHO, it should be less that 1 second of randomness because 1 second can make or break the race. FIVE SECONDS CANNOT BE NORMAL! To say that this upsets me is an understatement. This upsets me more than a bad driver.

See for yourself. From the time the car comes to a complete stop to the when the tire change starts is five whole seconds.

This might look innocent enough, but this affects so much. It dropped me from 3rd to 9th! Luckily, with some luck, I clawed back to 6th, but I should have been in that podium fight all the way. This affects DR and XP, not to mention the rage it causes.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but on Xbow interior the side mirrors detail goes really jaggy when adjusting the FOV.

Starting race glitch, Car doesn't move off of start line regardless of throttle. It's like the car is stuck into neutral and no matter what you do it won't move. Also when hit by cars the car barely moves and then still won't move with throttle input. Please fix it's a major problem in online

I had this happen to me earlier on.

Mine and pole positions cars didn't move when the race started.

I have the same issue as these.
It has happened being stuck in the pit lane, qualifying and the races from both the online series race. I went into a spin on a couple of laps and both times when the car came to a stop, the car would not move, either forward or reverse. In qualifying I just sat there until the time ran down for the race but when it happened in the race I was disqualified for not moving. I use a G29 wheel but also swapped to a controller which didn't fix it.
Seems that the patches have not fixed this, anyone know what the issue is?

The most annoying thing I'm finding, is when back markers go off the track in short circuits, they get reset on the racing line. If you are on the racing line, you end up driving right through them (while they are in transparent reset mode) but the game thinks you have crashed into them and gives you a 5 second penalty. This has happened to me quite a few times now and it's starting to wear a bit thin

I would call this a bug

Maybe it's lag, yet I noticed a few messy starts today at daily C Nurb GP. I've seen it happen before on other tracks as well where the auto drive has to navigate tight corners at the start.

Can this be fixed already, 2 times 5 sec penalty for passing a wreck resetting, and SR down.

The first car that reset even quit the race straight after, does the game want me to stop and wait?

Position numbers and time to the car in front / behind you are not to be trusted either in races with pit stops. What was weird today is that it temporarily corrects when crossing the finish line. I was 5th driving behind 3rd and 4th for the last few laps. Except 3rd showed up as 16th and moved 4th and me up a spot, except for a brief second each time we passed the start line.

Hi all, am new to this site, glad to be on board.

Don't know if this has been reported in this thread already, if it has please ignore this, but it is a serious one.

I turned on GTS this morning to find ALL my cars had gone, apart from the 3 gift DLC cars, despite the game functioning normally yesterday. I do not believe I have a game back-up from yesterday despite having PS Plus, but am working on getting my cars back somehow.

Could everyone please ensure that they back up their game save data if you don't already! This bug comes without warning! This is not a common problem I believe but PD need to know about this one.

Bug found when trying to claim the Trophy souvenir from Le Mans.

When taking a scape photo of the later released Audi R18 (added in an update patch) over the original R18 the game came with on the first release. I am unable to obtain the trophy when taking a photo at Le mans.

Major bug I know!!!!

I've noticed recently that when I go into my profile page, I get the daily mileage graph at the bottom as normal, but I'm no longer able to see the week/month bigger range graphs. Just get a black rectangle when I switch. It works fine on the GT website, but not on PS4. I'm on 76 days logged in and I think it's not worked since about 70. Anyone else seeing this?

^ I just noticed the same thing, 78 days logged on. Fine on the website, when I click on week on the ps4 it remains empty and daily workout km shows 0.0

Hi, new to the site...... I did a Time trial on Dragon trail with Bop on in the 458 Italia GT3 `13 But i have been told my time is too quick to achieve with Bop on any ideas? Lap only seems 1.2 seconds slower than my beetle with Bop Off.

Game crashes when getting the gift car for passing the beginner tutorial race. The animation of the cars spinning plays out and it shows the Mercedes-AMG GT S 2015 car and then nothing happens. The game just gets stuck loading the option to add the car to the garage. All I see on my screen is the car that for some reason doesn't have any tires and the dots at the bottom of the screen where the "Add to garage" option is supposed to appear. I've tried closing the application and trying again, but the same thing keeps happening, I can't even go to the next tutorial stuff because it will automatically go to the new car. There is a little box in the bottom left corner that says N500. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or is there an update or something?

In lobby the grid order option does not work properly for “host decides”. You can choose fastest/slowest first. However since the qualify option is not implemented yet, you would think you need to choose the option that the host decides the grid order. At lease the first race. If you choose this option however there is no way that you can choose the grid order as a host.

Is this a bug ? Or am I missing an option ?

This isn’t really a bug, but it shouldn’t exist. The pit crew stare at your car for 1-2 seconds even though it is right in front of them, pretty funny though reminds me of the mannequin challenge xD thanks pd hope you see this.

I have now enabled manual breathing mode...
Hehehe
