In a lobby, the first hotlap you do is for some reason ridiculously quicker than later laps, even without any major difference in driving. I've noticed this a few weeks ago, where it was impossible to get near the first hotlap pace. We'd be 5 seconds away. And just now, I did the opening sector of Maggiore fairly similarly in a Gr.2 car, and my second hotlap was already down by almost 3 seconds? The actual grip and feel of the car seems the same too. Just for some reason, timing is off maybe?

Yeah, tyre wear was on, but that isn't equivalent to almost 3 seconds in one sector. And even with a bit of sloppy driving on top of that, it wouldn't be close to 3 second difference. I'd have to pretty much go off the track to lose 3 seconds in one sector like this. Meanwhile someone else in the lobby was able to match the first sector pace, but then lost 1.5seconds in the next sector, and the driving was incredibly good, so certainly not losing that time through speed.

In addition to this, the fastest lap during the race afterwards was almost 10 seconds slower than this mysterious practice lap that I did.

I wonder how long it will take for the 1.16 update to come to fix everything 1.15 broke...

I did get the notification that the retrieving save data issue should be fixed :)

I believe you can adjust this in advanced settings in the in-race menu.

I know I can adjust the view. But my settings are good with all the other cars. Only the BMW M3 is like this.

With the M3 chase cam, I have to look through the windshield to see the road :D

The adjustable settings are saved for each car in cockpit view. It might be the same for chase.

Edit: this is fake news.

Amazing how hard the game is to play with no tyre sounds. Hopefully patched soon.

I actually did alright, when the penalty system wasn't out to get me anyway, it was proper weird though.
It felt strange driving with only the engine making any sound but somehow I was not any slower than I'd expect.

Its funny you mention this. On a few occasions I have complained to my wife that I set really good qualifying lap on the first go round (meaning, first time getting in the car and completing the lap on the new track of the day in sport mode races) never to match it much less better it. Thought I was just going mad.

I guess the sound issues are known. Damn. No wonder why I felt there was something missing from the races. I was sliding around with the M3 and it felt numb.

I'm assuming not everyone's sounds has been fixed. Once my game wasn't stuck on the saved data screen at the start up anymore all my sound issue were back to normal.

Well now I'm getting a bit fed up. All was well when I went to bed, but today I find not only am I missing the sounds some are complaining about, but I got robbed of 1 win, 1 fast lap, and 6 consecutive clean races. All my other stats are the same including my DR/SR. I'm ok with losing a win, but I worked really hard to get those clean races-at Brands Hatch, Willow Springs and Tsukuba too.

I've noticed too, that as soon as the update has installed, I get all of the new cars, tracks, and events, but the little red "new" symbols don't show up. They appear the next day, so maybe it would have something to with closing the application and re-starting it.

I don't know....I think this is getting ridiculous. Like I posted elsewhere, whenever I see an update coming in I wince and wonder how bad will the problems be?

My T300RS GT Edition is no longer working... This is a huge bummer. Let's hope PD is working around the clock on this.

Also, my PS4's fan is running on helicopter mode in the menus. This never happened on any previous updates.

Great after update... now game doesn't recognise my f1 wheel on thrustmaster 500rs wtf. So annoying after great dlc cars

I noticed that after update 1.15 exhaust flames on cars were not visualized at all, but sound of flames could be easily heard.
Rided bunch of cars, incuding Aventador, new NISMO GTR and new Honda RAYBRIG NSX CONCEPT-GT ‘16 and got nothing(only sound) even at dark track condition.

But yesterday everything was fine.

I'm talking about this all day but hardly anyone pays attention thank God someone noticed this too...try Audi LMP1 and you'll see flames popping out from beneath the car...and most GT3 racers don't have flames at all...

I have tested placing the ps4 over ice to see if heating had an influence on it, I don't talk much about it because people would think I am paranoid. My best lap of the session, always, second or third lap, followed by 20 laps that don't improve, the next time I race the track I get a great lap time, try to improve it, cycle goes on and on.

I hope it will be fixed, because this bug is really messy and easy to be noticed. I can't even feel the joy from the game because I know that it's broken a bit.
According to this issue, I'm not sure that it can be reproduced for 100% of players. Or not everyone pays attention to such detail.

Is there any workaround about the missing game sounds?

Restarting your game. But it can appear at any moment, had a lobby tonight, I had 2 or 3 races without any issues, then the sounds went missing without me even leaving the lobby. But I could hear the tyres from other cars. The host lost the sounds one race after me.

Also, this bug has been in GT6 for a while as well.
