But no-one else has any way of determining that. The replay does not show it.

Which is why he told us.... I really don't understand why you're getting confused about this, he got a penalty at 0:40, so all you need to do is watch before that point to determine if he did anything to warrant getting the penalty or not. The answer is he didn't. There is absolutely no need for a live recording if you're told where he got the penalty.

There's no confusion; it's simply not visible on the video.

I don't really care what anybody says about it - the user, you, or me - because it can't be seen. Whether it's a genuine bug or not, a replay video is inconsequential in determining what happened when nobody can see the event taking place, because replays don't record that event.

I understand your scientific approach of the proof. I will post later the full replay of the race and if you have 30 mn of your precious time to loose , you'll see that i didn't make anything wrong during the all race for this penalty . Not even close. The penalty will not appear even this way and i will slow to avoid it ... or for the fun to slow during a race loosing 2 places....
It's just a report . Believe who want to... or not.

Again, it's nothing to do with believing anyone - and if you want to upload the entire replay that's your call, but it still won't show the event occurring.

Bug reports work best when they show the bug. In this instance the bug is a completely unwarranted penalty (which I'm happy to take your word for). A video of a replay doesn't show if a penalty was awarded, unwarranted or not. If we were PD (which we aren't) and you wanted to show us the bug, you'd need a video that showed it happening. That's literally all I'm saying - and it's part of why I live capture everything.

I am idly wondering if the replay file would show the penalty, but I suspect that it wouldn't. But only PD would know that for now.

An interesting bug happen to me yesterday when I was doing the RX-7 race in Sport Mode. I did the warm-up with a full grid of 12 and all was normal. I started last with no qualifying time since I am trying to complete the clean race achievement. After the race loaded up, I was the only one on the track. I "won" the race and "set" the fastest lap and at the results page, everyone was listed as a DNF. In addition, since I started last, the victory screen showed I gained 11 places. I do not know if anyone else has experienced this before, but still wanted to note it. Unfortunately, I do not have screenshots for proof.

You're right it's ok .. Next time i'll record my races even if i have to delete it after this. Not a big thing. But it happen.. ;)

i heard a very strange noise yesterday when i was pitting...

now i understand.

Sport Mode or Lobby?

I noticed this yesterday myself in a lobby.
Watching live or on replay, same result.
The replay of your own car is fine, but most other cars have evolved towards auditioning for Cirque du Soleil.

Sport mode. That's not my car tho, i was in 3rd there as you can see in the leaderboard. I heard all the noise as i was still in pits when that happened xD

Not sure if anyone said this yet but I got a problem adjusting the Force Feedback Max Torque from 2 .. every time I do it and go into another race it falls back to 2 again and forgets the setting I put it at before ... damn annoying

Oh also the Brake on the Fanatec V3 don't give the correct brake .. it somehow loosens up when you're braking so you have to press harder the slower you go, which is completely opposite of real world where you need to loosen up the slower you go ...

Come on PD you have a good game with so much potential but you keep screwing it up ...

I had recorded an evidence of exhaust flames bug(link to video: ).
I played all the time with "Prioritize Quality" mode on PS PRO with 1080p display.
In the video you can see, that no exhoust are rendered.
Then (1:46) I changed graphics mode onto "Prioritize Framerate" and exhaust flames magically appeared.
After that(4:34) go back to settings and changed back to "Prioritize Quiality" mode - get glitchy exhaust flames effect.
After game restart exhaust flames effect is not visible again.

Way to go man!Hope they see it and fix it asap!

Sound bug in arcade mode as well as daily races.
No tires sounds. This only started happening after 1.15.
Had this twice today - rebooted ps4 and got the sound working again although I have been told by another driver that I just needed to shut the game down and then start the game again

My McLaren Orange paint chip disappeared from my account, even though i have McLaren orange on my 650S GT3 livery and can still use it no problem.

Ever since the patch I'm losing Tire squeal sounds to after a few races I have to reboot also to get my tires squeal sounds back there might be a few more sound effects missing but I just don't know what they are ....because i haven't noticed them yet. I repeat a complete restart of the gtsport application cures it but it's getting kind of old.

I'm not sure if this has been reported yet, but the rear indicator lights from the Hyundai Genesis Coupe does not work, only the front ones does.

Along with the tyre squeals, I am losing feedback force, it seems like the road surface interaction gone wrong, although, no difference in grip or lap time, at least, the wheel feels loose.

Not sure if this is a bug but the Honda emblem in the front of the NSX GT500 looks jagged in the Brand Central. I'm not sure if this is the case with the real one too.

I had the same problem and had to change my settings to make it proper again.

How hard is it to PD write a list of things what they've changed? Would save us a lot of time and ******** :boggled:

Found out that game installation doesn't help. Exhaust flames bug is permanent.
Thanks for letting me know my game is digital and I was ready to delete it all and re download all 80 + gigs again...
Lets hope that quick update lands next week to iron things out a bit...

Starting to stream confuses the in-game sounds. Even in normal sound mode the music/sounds may disappear. Restarting streaming may fix the tyre sounds but music is always off.
