One of the drivers shows the replay of the fastest driver showing that he's has a benefit of extra Tyre grip
Not without a comparison to anyone else it doesn't.

I've no idea what's possible and what isn't with that car/track combination. That video (which doesn't even start until 5'43 of the 11'49 video) simply shows someone going fast (with countersteer assist on). Without a comparative video of someone else, there's no way to say if it's too fast or not.

If you're citing a bug and have a video, you need the video to show the bug.

and don't even receive penalties for clearly track cutting.
There's no track cutting there. Track limits are where PD sets them for each track. As everyone can take the lines he took without a penalty for exceeding track limits, there was no corner cutting.

Turn 4 in particular sparked a huge thread here where some insisted that track limits are always the white lines. They aren't, even in real life.

People are still saying that the famous "Grip bug" is still present in GT Sport an broke down the competition spirit of the game ..
People like the very known TRL_MANURODRY and other top drivers that normally where in the world top 10 drivers.

One of the drivers shows the replay of the fastest driver showing that he's has a benefit of extra Tyre grip and don't even receive penalties for clearly track cutting.

Video below in Spanish, but it's a known problem and should made be aware to the users and developers for further investigation and possible fixing.

So this tyre grip bug helps the S/S grade driver to win by 0,1 seconds. :odd:
Not sure about the bug.

I think 1 thing PD needs to fix are players not losing much time on an excursion thru the grass. In sport races last night at Brandshatch there were guys running thru the grass all the time for pretty long distances and I was less than 1.5 seconds behind, I still couldn't pass them when I took a good line and we were running the same lap times for a couple laps. Same with guys that brake very early and penalties, I think if someone is braking far outside of the braking comes you should not be penalized for responding them. My goal is to always have a clean race above all else. I ended up ruining my race (20th to 4th then back to 9th after braking issue) because someone hit the brakes very early and I had to take evasive action to avoid the 10 second penalty, that put me in the grass. I don't follow at closer than a 1 second gap approaching brake zones, if I am drafting I will lift off the gas and create a bigger gap so I can't rearend the car in front but it ends up costing me positions especially against players that will pass at all costs no matter who they push off the road. Part of the problem is that most players don't realize that there is qualifying pace and race pace, you don't race at qualifying pace, the track ain't wide enough

What bug are you reporting?

"Blimey! I do believe Polyphony Digital needs to repair a problem.

It would seem our fellow drivers are not losing enough momentum when they depart from the track surface.

I was engaged in vehicular battle with several other gentlemen, all of who were attempting to perform rally maneuvers during the race! I fought valiantly and committed to on-track driving...."

Ah, I give up.
He's basically complaining about there not being a harsh enough loss of speed when drivers are running on the grass.

I dont know if its a bug, its just that cars dont seem to lose a fair amount of time for being off track driving thru the grass. If PD designed it to be that way I guess its not a bug, but it does not seem to be conducive to a "real driving simulator" is all. As far as penalties are assessed it seems like it still needs quite a bit of work, I can understand this is very difficult but there are some cases that would should be considered "racing incidents" and not be open to penalties. I had an incident last night where a competitor was beside me trying to pass, put a wheel in the grass and turned left 90 degrees in front of me and I hit him in drivers door and got a 7 second penalty. I was penalized just for being there I guess, it was completely unavoidable on my part and I essentially paid for his mistake.

@Famine

so someone agrees with me that it is not "finger diarrhea" as some like to think. Maybe it is the rally racers attempting to beat us while we race on asphalt tracks who think that way.:confused::cheers:

Their is a sound issue on GT League where when racing you can not hear the tyres gripping the road, skid and screeching sounds. I was somehow able to still play and win but only hearing the sounds of the engine and transmission. It doesn't matter what car or what track. It happened in Beginner and Amateur Leagues. Haven't tried Pro Leagues.

Hello, i finally got to join gtplanet :-) feels good.
For the five days i have not been able to play sport or fia championship. It has been stuck in the "preparing to match" phase and that have been that. Sometimes it doesnt register my daily miles aswell. I have played since launch on the same ps4 and on the same internet. I dont understand, have anyone experienced this too? I have an itch to play :-(
Thank you in advance

I'd like to report a bug. Upon completing a "Circuit Experience" event and choosing "retry" on the ending screen, my game will crash right after loading the event again. It happens every single time without fail. I tried it with multiple tracks and it occurs with all of them. I did notice that it only happens when I have a time that is saved to the leaderboard. Has anyone had this problem?

Was trying to check a replay of a daily race I just had on the M3 race at Tsukuba and found the replay
buttons cause a fatal error with Gran Turismo causing a blue screen and have to reload the game.

Same also seems to happen if you try to view the live timings option but seemed a bit random but not
sure if this is regular or not.

I race in an online racing league in Snail on GT Sport and communication is key. Since only party chat is available and we cannot voice chat back and forth in lobbies like back in GT6, only thing most of us can do is type back and forth. First ever bug for me since this new update is that we could only select the pre-selected words for chat lobby but anytime we tried sending our own words or numbers, nothing was coming up in the chat and was really weird. This happening only after newest update.

Once you select a pre-defined word, you can't type anything... is that what is happening?

Last night during a league race we were not able to chat. You would see a drivers "pen" show up that they were typing but no comment would ever show. It was intermittent, meaning some drivers it worked for some it didnt.

Just noticed that the strenght of the FFB won't save (T300 here). If I change it to 7 (instead of 5 by default) the change will only last for the session...if I go back to the main menu, it comes back to 5... I don't have that problem ith the FFB sensitivity though.
So everytime I change race or car, I have to do it again...
Is this bug already known?
I mean: come on...

I have the same problem. Every time a race, qualifying, trial laps etc are entered I need to go in setting and change Force Feedback from 7 to 2. Mine is defaulting to 7. Sensitivity seems to stay where I had it last, so it just appears to be a problem on FFB for me.

Same thing happened to me yesterday in an FIA race. When the room first loaded up, not everyone's greeting message appeared. Post-race, I typed up a message three times but didn't appear at all.

That is not it. I was able to type words before the first race but after that my own text would not show but the pre-selected words would show. Just figured would report it here since it would be a bug since the newest update. The pen mark thing shows up usually but no words were being posted into race room lobby.

I am not sure if this is a bug and if so if it has been reported. I was racing the Blue Moon 16 lap daily today, on lap 14 I passed 2 place when he spun and I took over 2nd, he fell to 3rd. I was keeping an eye on our gap and it started at 6 seconds stretched to more than 8 seconds a few corners later. On lap 16, the final lap, (we were both on lead lap) all of sudden I noticed it says Im back to 3rd after never having been passed and I had no penalty. The race results also show I finished 3rd, so I saved the replay to see what happened. The 3rd place car hit the brakes slightly before the start finish line at the end of lap 15 and waited for the leader to lap him, at that time 3rd accelerated again and his screen info changed to show him in 2nd when he crossed the start/finish line for the last lap. Is this a cheat that I am unaware of??? Freak occurrence??? Thank you, Bob

Not sure if this is a bug or not, since 1.15 using cockpit view a lot of frame rate or animation issue with the steering wheel, jumps from quarter turn to straight without the smooth animation and occasionally misses an upshift because of this, never did this before. On a PS4 pro.

GTS hangs about 15 secs after initialisinn the application.
Restarted PS4 multiple times
This has happened to me twice now (can't remember after which update the first time, but started happening again after 1.15). For me it hangs within seconds of the main menu screen appearing. Had to delete game data to "fix"... which, annoyingly, also deletes photos and saved replays. All settings are retained, as well as car setups and, weirdly, offline liveries (those that have yet to be uploaded) are retained. It appears GTS saves things all over the bloody place. Whoever thought it was a good idea to store photos and saved replays with game data needs to take a long hard look in the mirror... then slap themselves!

PD, please fix the screen in the Ferrari 458! In dusk situations it is unusable and a distraction. This has been an issue since launch.

Looks like you have the exposure settings turned way up to compensate for low light conditions. The instrument display not being readable is a massive give-away (and dusk looks a little darker than that usually).

That looks like late afternoon and not dusk. If his game looks like that at dusk, his brightness and contrast are both unusually high.

I had a bug a few times that after leaving pit, an opponent would be given a different position, usually last place, when he actually was ahead of me, at the end of the race, the game would correct it, maybe it was this same bug and he was paying a penalty.
