Exhaust fire when downshifting is a mess now...most GT3 cars don't have it anymore but the sound is there...
LMP1 it's coming from beneath the car....messss :banghead:

The Gr.2 GT-R that was just added has two paint jobs, and they look exactly the same. No visible change whatsoever. Is this considered to be a bug?

Also experiencing a loss off sound and when I reload the game my save data check with server times out (which takes a minute or two of waiting patiently). Once it fails I click X and play the game as normal without any loss of data... weird. The missing sound is definitely bothersome though.

Can you actually play the game and save like normal without your save getting ruined? Because I have this problem too. I'm kinda scared to do anything in case something happens.

Is the issue of video uploads from certain types of races still present (error communicating with the server)?

Forcefeedback settings always reset to default if you go to track or if race start..... T-GT wheel.
ff-sens stay at what u set, ff-strenght will reset to default. Dosnt matter if reboot or restart or save the game, ff-strenght reset itself to default setting when race start or if you re enter track.

sometimes only the sound of the engine and gearbox can be heard, and everything else will not be heard ( tire and wind noise, curb sound )

It happened to me also & i've noticed tha it started when i pressed the PS button to write a message!

My T300 working perfectly

T500 are officially supported BTW

CJ
It's not actually officially in terms working in home menu, it's limited only to in game, it is kinda officially supported but only in game, it will be due to fanatec wheel being added both are supported in same kind way on PS4, I think also fanatec wheels won't work in home xmb menu also, where as T300 etc will work in menu

This is happening for me as well with the Fanatec CSL Elite. Doesn't seem to be an issue with any particular wheel, just the in-game settings not saving. I reported this to Thomas at Fanatec so hopefully they can make PD aware of this if they aren't already. I imagine this is something they will get patched pretty quickly.

That is on purpose. If you look in the front windshield you’ll notice LED’s that are red or blue depending on which livery you are looking at. Its made to indicate which driver is in the car in a real GT500 race. (Also the livery is named the drivers name)

I have noticed this on a few gr3 cars it looks like the backfire is coming from the muffler rather than the exhaust, its definitely not right and needs fixing, the gr3 nsx has this issue.

I’m noticing lots of sound issues now, like only engine noise, no tires like mentioned above. As well as music not playing when it should be. This is happening all the time. Where can we report to PD?

The sound settings have way more options now, maybe something is off there? I don’t have any music in the menus anymore, haven’t tried driving yet.. Also a saving issue at the start, but it does save successfully from the menu..

Same here, both.

Sound is fine on the menus, but once Im in a session, all effects are out.

VR mode won't start and it keeps telling me to put the headset on even though I'm always wearing it. Have to keep exiting and selecting VR mode multiple times before I can get to the track select screen.

During my quick test this morning ,my horn were on sometime (4 to 5 times per lap) when upshifting (only during the time i was pressing the right pad) with my G29 on Tsukuba , this happened only with the Mazda RX-7 GT - X (FC)

No this is a signal from the car telling you to shift up. Its like that in the actual car :)

You have to make sure the camera is facing the headset. This solved the problem for me.

I've had that once before, before the update.. I think it was the order that I did something or having been in VR in a prior game before loading GTS or something, but I never had it happen since.

Edit : that bloody rx7 bleeping bleep bleeep, It's not fit for the track with that damn bleep.
Is that bleep to tell me to shift or telling me I'm over revving? if I could switch it off I would.
