TOP GEAR! My brother and I would rent that on the weekends!

-edit-
Sorry, double post..
I double post like that all the time.

I still have Top Gear, MAAAAAANNN. I need a power adapter though. Or a portable game player. They're all affordable, so I could get it soon. WISH LIST

I'm 27 and officially out of all special offers for young people in France...
Well you still have your bread. France is known for that, right? :D

Thought I was one of the elders here when I saw the upper limit on your age choices stopped at 50. I'm 63 and after seeing others with a few years on me no longer ashamed to admit my immature faults. Hey, I'm retired. What else have I got to do besides change my hearing aid batteries?
Isn't it annoying when the batteries fail in the middle of a session - I've taken to keeping a pack of batteries near the PS3 now!

Hi all I´m 56 years and startet GTing 2 years ago with GT5 and GT6.
PSN Simba2009lora

He only started a couple of years ago and already he is Alien fast! I remember a couple of years ago his son asked if it would be alright if his Dad started racing with us - very soon he went from novice to the fastest in the group!

I also fit into the oldest category - I started soon after GT5 came out - I bought a pre-owned copy to use with a PS3 which my wife got free with a mobile phone contract - bought my first wheel, a DFGT from Argos and was hooked. My wife and kids don't understand my hobby, but they tolerate it!

Not sure why the poll stops at 50+ as there are many older members on GT Planet and the "Geezer Club" is just for racers aged over 60.

I was born in 1956; PD keeps offering me Subarus 360 '58 in my birthday - I have 3, instead of 250 GTO or 300 SLs - oh sorry, wrong thread ...
This thread is a bit of spoiler because one thing I love in GT is that you can have great online battles with persons you dont know nothing about. I just use my imagination, and thats a plus in gaming experience.

Here are the first racing games I remember playing:

Lotus Challenge on Amiga:

F-1 Race on GameBoy (I just read that this game even had 4 player multi-player, wow!):

OutRun on some arcade system:

This is my first ever racing game :) and luckily it was quite a simulator! From 1983 and so much ahead of its time that I haven't found anything close to it until Nigel Mansell's GP.
At 12:55 you can see short list of its features - but you could overheat engine, blow tires, leak oil, skid on puddles - young boys heaven! :dopey:👍
