Over the last ten days, I've put in over 900 miles in an effort to beat Hamilton's Diamond time at Mt Panorama.
This morning, I just ran a 2:01.571 lap which is within a tenth of a second of Hamilton's time::):)

So close!!! Arrrggg!:ill:
I don't know if I can find the last tenth, but I'm going to try!:dopey:
Currently, I'm running the Mercedes with BB=0 thru the first corner, and then switching to BB+1 for the middle of the lap, and then switching back to BB=0 for the last two corners. No TC, and I'm using the manual gearbox.
Good luck!

Recent pictures of me when I wasn't running laps at Mt Panorama:

Cruising along, but heading back to the beach:

Slowing down since I'm about to run up on the beach:

Blasting away since the wind freshened a little (I'm on the left):

The above pictures are from March and I was using my 7 meter sail and my 6.5 meter sail since the wind varied from about 14 mph to 18 mph.
Cheers!

More pictures of me from March:

Cruising along but contemplating whether to gybe or not:
The sign in the near background is a manatee sign to warn boaters to slow down and make minimum wake.
I was only obeying one of these instructions.:D

Still cruising, but I've decided to come back to the beach for a rest and some water:

Slowing down since I'm about to run up onto the beach:

In all of the above pictures I'm sailing with my 6.5 meter sail. The wind is about 15 - 18 mph.
The wind on this day was just great so I was probably on the water for 2 hours.
Great fun!

More pictures of me from a day with more wind:

Blasting along, but not at full speed due to the chop:

I'm on the right, and I'm probably fully lit in this picture:
The wife of the second windsurfer was taking the pictures.

In both of these pictures I'm sailing with my 6.0 meter sail. The wind was about 18 - 22 mph.
I'm probably sailing at about 25mph in the second picture.
Great fun!

I was thinking about the Zodiac I owned many years ago and thought I would share some pics of other cars I have owned over the years. I managed to find pics with the same colour. The Lada was my first owned car and cost me ÂŁ35. I was 16 years old. My current car is the last one and I have owned it for 7 years and is the best driving car of the lot, although I have had lots of fun in some of the others. The Capri had a stage 2 fully raced tuned engine in it. I had to keep a couple of bags of cement in the boot!

Still working on the Diamond at Mt Panorama, and haven't gotten any closer after another 350 miles.:banghead:

I'm certainly learning the track so on my good laps I'm now able to run 2:01.7xx laps as you can see by all my recent replays:

49856442858_097c4352c1_k.jpg

I just ran a 2:01.585 which nearly tied my best, but Hamilton is still driving a tenth faster than me!:grumpy:

Must find more speed!!!

Geezers Wednesday Night Open. I should be able to open a room tonight. Now how long I last is another story. Start @ Big Willow x 5 laps in the SF19. RS. After that I’ll choose someone to pick car track laps tires. Lobby opens 6:30 central. Hope to see you there. Or here. Whatever it is. PS: Don’t tell Al he can drive his viper. Cory loves it. Later lads...

@Oldgoat1047 Awesome combo Scotty to start tonight's Geezer races .GOOD JOB .I did a few laps this morning .WOW .About 57 seconds of pure adrenaline .With RS tires you can go wide open on the last turn  (even Cory won't complain about this race combo)
You wish. He’ll complain about the balloons not being in the right spot. And we might have to increase to 7 laps. Votes??
