I've watched a couple of top 10 replays now but they didn't help much. I can see a couple of places where my lines could be better but they were very different styles. One guy, 1:05.5, was using ASM and kept it floored through the esses. The top guy, 1:04.8, was using no aids and feathered the throttle much more. The weird thing was it looked like his brake pedal wasn't completely releasing. There was a constant flicker on the brake indicator and the abs light kept coming on. I don't know how accurate the replays are but how can anyone go that fast with the brakes dragging?
I've only just realised that you can only watch replays from the first screen and not once you've started your laps.
I wonder if that are using clutch and manual shifter too?

I was determined to get under 1:06. My first car was a 1966 Mini, not a Cooper S though - a Countryman. Half-timbered.

I won't be able to host the Saturday Geezer races for the next two Saturdays. Please someone cover for this slacker.

P.M.

Well done SM! I seem to be stuck again, can't squeeze any more time out of the Mini, although I'm managing top 3 in every race.

I learnt to drive in my Mum's 1966 Mini, standard 850cc car though.

as I complained in the way that the @Nonno Calvy behaved during the races, I come here to confirm that his behavior on the track was improved significantly. I humbly

:lol: If only I could be as quick! Not sure what happened at Blue Moon, my car seemed to bounce off the walls without slowing me down, and everyone was crashing in front of me and I just slipped through the carnage . Nice though for a Brit to put it up the fellers from across the pond :cheers:
