Yeah! That's about collision physics.
Even better if you not need to slam your opponent in last lap (without consequences) to win, like in GT1.
Or have to be careful in first corner because of great physics.

In their defence, if there's really hundreds of Scapes, something like that was bound to happen. It's a proud history, paved by the likes of the Skyline Foumula, Opel Caribra, and Daisin Silvia.

I am under the impression that the normal cars will have a rally mod and a racing mod. Maybe some multiple racemods (GR.2 and GR.3) and other a GR.x mod and a rally mod. Wonder who it works out and if all cars can have a livery applied to.

I found the Ai has been improved. They don't slow down as much when you're close to them. Their pace after the karrussel is impressive [compared to GT6].

The Toyota LMP1 has some interesting hybrid power on the exit of corners. Did that exist in GT6? Anyway I've noticed some Ai making mistakes and spinning on their own but it's rare it happens. Pretty cool.

They still look extremely easy to pass on the brakes to be honest with no defensive lines, and that is on the tight Ring. I'd like to see them on a wider, open track.

Watching that presentation on youtube now...

Whilst i am perfectly fine with the amount of detail they went into, regarding photo mode...

But, photo mode isn't racing. I understand that it is an important part of the game for many people, but it isn't THE purpose of the game ( or maybe it IS in Yamauchi-san's mind? ).

I don't wish they had focused any less on photo mode here, BUT, they should have dedicated just as much time to actual game mechanics or even the livery editor, that was merely glossed over briefly.

20 or more minutes on taking photos of cars and nothing about actual on track stuff at all. That's just plain odd. Maybe that's being left for another day, later in the year perhaps. Too much focus on Brand Central and Photomode, sadly. I remember when it was great fun to get stuck into all of the minutiae of actual driving and racing in Gran Turismo. I don't think i have ever once bothered taking photos of the cars, but that's just me. I'm not pooh poohing anyone's interest in that mode at all. I just wish they talked about the meat and potatoes more. Like i say, maybe that will come as the game gets further completed...

Yes I agree to a certain extent. They are still poor on some corners as they're braking too early but their overall pace has been improved. This was on 'professional', there are 2 easier settings as well.

That's what the clip sounds like. It's lacking a lot of detail yes, but the note is accurate.

I can respect, though, that going by your profile pic you are a huge 458 fan and GTS isn't doing it justice.
