Please sir, can I have some more... MORE cockpit footage recorded off screen (therefore not game quality). This time its the Mazda LM55 Vision GT covering part of the Nordschleife circuit. You will recognise the background music (from the event not from the game) as being from previous GT game(s).

I should like to point out that it is not me that is driving that bad!!!

People seem to be lapping up the video content which I am pleased about. It's being posted purely to promote the game and give enjoyment to fans of the series.

Oh and thanks to anyone from here who has subscribed to the channel - it's really appreciated. :gtpflag:

More soon... (as classy Alan from Team VVV would say :sly:)

That's a real slick HUD inside the LM55, always wondered what something like the tomahawk looked like on the inside too.

Interesting how there are 'items'. Might be referring to racing gear and helmets, but assuming that GT Sport allows us to performance customize certain cars, I wouldn't be surprised if we could mix and match car parts. Just speculation ;)

And one of the tabs at the top is named "Inventory". I wonder what that is.

There are some other things in that profile that I wonder about.
Like the 2 numbers to the left below "Aston Martin".
One of them is how much money you got I think.
But what is the other number?

So it's a few months later, we have around 50% of the car list and im not seeing very many cars also in Driveclub. One could even call the ones so far a coincidence...Still confident that we will have 90 to 100% of the cars?
Ask yourself the question, GT Sport is an ESport title, a title that mostly focuses on Race Cars/Vision GT, and since Driveclub is mostly a road cars game, you'll have to wait for an official GT7 release for the road cars to start rolling out, my opinion still stands for a full GT experience game that also focuses on road cars, the lack of GT sport news at the release event didn't explain how the focus would be Race Cars and Vision GT, so yes, when a full road cars class in GT is available, either in a GT Sport expansion or GT7, we'll have to wait and see how they implement the numerous road cars.

Now, let's compare the road cars in both games shall we? check your Master Car list thread and this https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/available-cars-in-driveclub-including-dlc-cars.322067/
Noticed something about most US/EU GT Sport Road Cars?

Looks like another currency, maybe premium coins to obtain exclusive liveries, helmets etc.? Microtransactions confirmed?

Nice deflection of the question he asked you.

That sure is a lot of words to say "I don't know what I'm talking about".

We are all hoping for more assets and effects to be used in the final build of the game, to provide more trackside detail and immersion. But I am already pleased with trackside recovery vehicles/cars/caravans ect. All of that miscellaneous stuff looks like our avatar could jump in and drive, whereas before it all looked like it was ripped from Minecraft. I especially like the aerial shots of Brands Hatch with the many parked cars.

Well... not to cast any serious doubt on content cross pollinating from DC, but that remains to be seen. I sure wouldn't mind at all more cars and tracks, but Kaz seems to regard Gran Turismo as a collective work of art crafted by his Polyphony family members, and he just isn't into collaborating. I know it's way popular for everyone to go from begging to cajoling for Kaz to import models from other games like DC and outsource modeling work. He can't do whatever he wants carte blanche, but seeing as he's vice-president of Sony Computer Entertainment, I'm thinking he's got a pretty big hammer.

So yes, I'm still not seeing this as anything more than a coincidence. You have an exact hit rate of exactly 7 cars. I could probably do the same with the Forza and get a similar number of hits, they're all including similar popular cars. All of the slightly specialist models in Driveclub however are nowhere to be seen in GTS, nor are most of anything.

Then we have....

Anomalies

Alfa Romeo 4C '13 (GTS has the '15)
Aston Martin One-77 '10 (GTS has the '11)
Renault Megane RS 275 '15 (GTS has the base RS)
Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk VII '13 (GTS has the '14)
Audi TT RS Plus (GTS has the facelift, base RS '15)
Lotus Evora Sports Racer (GTS still has the base '09)
Nissan MY15 GTR R35 + GTR R35 Nismo (GTS has the '12 and the '16)
Chevrolet Corvette (C7) Z06 Supercharged Stingray '16 (GTS has the base '14)

Race cars

Mercedes AMG GT3 '16

If, as you claim, Sony had the rights to include these licensed cars in any game why did PD instead include slightly different models, requiring a new license? Or are you now going to make the ludicrous claim that Sony has the license for their games to any Megane model, any Evora, any year Golf and so on? Why don't they have the AMG GT3 Racecar?!!

Your claims, that Sony has a "universal" license and that any car included in Driveclub will also be included in GT because of that license is absolutely baseless. Show some actual evidence these licenses exist or admit you were just totally guessing yet presenting it as a fact.

Since Sony now has the rights to all the cars included in #Driveclub

As I have been saying for the past months, Driveclub cars are coming to GT since sony has the rights to those cars

Those are statements of fact. Back them up.

Driveclub cars seem to not have been made "Franchise licence" which is clearly shown in the GT Sport trailer, as it includes a lot of the Driveclub cars, you can expect 90% if not 100% of the Driveclub cars in GT Sport.

I think I have clearly shown that this was hogwash. Even at the time you posted this it was hogwash since "a lot" was actually two, the AMG and Veneno.

I'm glad you think so, reminds me of my thoughts on your moderation.

Well at least this was a cohesive thought. Having said that, if you can't argue the point without attacking someone then it's probably in your best interest to not say anything at all.
