Both myself and Tornado were being sarcastic, another user has been assuring us for a few years that original PS4 is easily capable of 4k gameplay and that the only thing preventing it was Sony enabling it. Suffice to say we did not agree with that theory.

The GTX1080 is $US600 not $1000. It runs games in 4k with max settings at 33-68 fps avg. Turning a couple of things down to high and turning aliasing down will allow most, if not all these games to hit an avg of 60fps at 4k. It may not be your personal preference but the internetz are full of people currently enjoying 4k gaming.

I have seen benchmarks of GTX1080. You need couple of them to get more performance than a single Titan X pascal which is going to cost same money 1200$. My point was since the fastest gfx cards cannot handle games at max settings in 4K and maintain 60fps which is getting more common these days. The future games probably are going to struggle more. You can play older titles may be. But as I said earlier what is the point in playing at high res when gfx are not improving ;)

Edit: I checked @Dionisiy 's shared vídeo on the other GTS thread, and I found this...

Now, I don't know if that's from another game, but that front looks new to the game for me... Forget the pods' shots since that's a run at Willow with the Gr.3 Alfa and the other it's at nothern isle speedway, but that screen I marked looks interesting :)

SS Route 11 GT1 version? Just kidding, I think it's a beautiful cutscene that you will see once or twice if you stay for 1 hour on the menu without activity. New stuff Poly!!!

One is driving at willow and the other one at the oval track - so it would seem that there isnt new content (at least in terms of tracks) shown. Apart from that windtunnel background video playing at the monitors on the right, dont recall having seen that yet.

I'll be honest and say that I really don't know what I'm looking at in the 2nd image.

Regarding the last image.
'Single Race' - so safe to assume it's Arcade mode?
If so - '3:00pm'
A sign of adjustable time of day in this build?
Or have we seen this before?

Maybe one can choose a time of day variant of the nürburgring in the second image?

I think at the 2nd picture you maybe can choose between day and night?
Arcade Mode includes:Single Race,Time Trail,Drift Trail and 2player splitscreen

I can see some sort of a ghostly image of Nurburgring track maps in the second image, but not much more than that if I'm honest.

That funny 'right angle thingy' centre screen has me really confused though. :lol:
What is that?
I get the feeling I'm not seeing something obvious. :P

It's a new loading screen, the previous one showcased the track while the car you chose drove 'round it. :)

And regarding the second image: it's a different track selection screen. Maybe, when you choose a track, there just are the locations and when you click on the location, you get to choose the prefered layout specifically.
