Again camera angles, and yes the curbs looks more accurate but the ones in GT SPORT are not flat, just not accurately representated as in Asseto Corsa

I believe it has to do with the camera angle and the sense of speed in GT Sport and the real life footage which makes it look flat. But they are actually not flat
The Merc is easily riding half the kerb whereas in real life you can see it's too tall to ride.
There's a lot of rubber laid down on it for a kerb that's too tall to ride.
I guess the rubber is from street cars trackdays,in real life you cant do that with GT3 race cars. There's a lot of rubber laid down on it for a kerb that's too tall to ride.
How can the sense of speed have any bearing on a still screenshot? The camera angle is almost identical. How do you know they are not flat?
In this one:

This is the best I can do about camera angles:Again camera angles
This is why I said:but the ones in GT SPORT are not flat
almost flat
Not the same turn and not the same height but i woul'd say they can do it.I guess the rubber is from street cars trackdays,in real life you cant do that with GT3 race cars.
Quite. The thing about the curbs at the Nurb is that they all have their own individual character and many of them come with a real risk/reward possibility. If you hit them just right you can take a straighter line through a corner and gain some time but if you hit them wrong, you are bounced around and lose grip and time. If the curbs are flattened that risk/reward gets lost and it encourages people to simply throw two wheels up on the grass and try and straightline every corner. It also makes for very unrealistic looking replays. Assetto Corsa has this aspect of the track nailed IMO. I haven't micro analyzed every curb to be able to know they are all perfectly accurate, but it's much more difficult to ride them than it was in GT6 for sure.
You seem hell bent on proving that 4k is impossible on consoles in the near future. You aren't comparing apples to apples. Games on console, especially from AAA devs, are much more highly optimized than they are on pc because pc games have to run on every single combination of CPU/GPU. So in an apples to apples comparison spec wise, equal specs on the console will produce much better results vs. pc. Settings can also be turned down and so can framerates. 4k at 30 fps is easily possible on the new XBone Scorpio with medium to high settings in a game that is optimized to take advantage of the hardware.
At max settings, no. If we went by max settings, then the base PS4 would be doing something like 14fps in most games.
You can do a good combination of High/Ultra in most cases(and an occasional medium if necessary, especially with poor value shadow settings) and get a substantial increase in framerates without affecting fidelity much at all in most cases if you know the least bit about what you're doing.
The GTX1080 is $US600 not $1000. It runs games in 4k with max settings at 33-68 fps avg. Turning a couple of things down to high and turning aliasing down will allow most, if not all these games to hit an avg of 60fps at 4k. It may not be your personal preference but the internetz are full of people currently enjoying 4k gaming. If someone is going to spend a grand on gfx card alone I am sure they would play on max setting with smooth fps than 4K. IMO we are some years away before we can get into 4K gaming with good details. If Xbone2 only plays the current game at 4K they are probably they are wasting the resources.
GT6 even on 4K would not better than GTS. Personally for me having good lighting, shading, shadows, textures etc make more impact than 4K.
Not the same turn but about the same height. Not the same turn and not the same height but i woul'd say they can do it.

Plus, I have it on good authority that Sony just need to, like, turn 4K on and the PS4 can do it.The GTX1080 is $US600 not $1000. It runs games in 4k with max settings at 33-68 fps avg. They flicked it! GT Sport has 4k output! for photos. still waiting on that easily done gameplay.
Oh people are gonna love to ***** about those flat curbs, now in 4K
4k output was only in scapes IIRC.

If it was so easily done in gameplay, then why don't more PS4 games support 4K?They flicked it! GT Sport has 4k output! for photos. still waiting on that easily done gameplay.
