I was today @ Essen Motor Show. I think we have the same Build like in London but with the Base PS4.
My first impression is positive. The Feedback of the car is very good. Better than I thought. Framerate is good when you drive in the bumper perspective like me. But i saw some others in the cockpit perspective and there i notice some framedrops. But overall a good performance. Better than GT6 for sure. I cant say about the sound. The environment was too loud, sorry! :(

I set the seconds best time of the day. Only 9 hundredths slower than the Overall besttime (ARRRRRGH!) Here my video of my fastest lap.

This car would probably be a blast to drive if it were MR instead of 4WD. I imagine it handles similarly to the Bugatti VGT and I can't see all that understeer being an addictive fun drive. Either way, I wanna see it in action because it's my favorite looking (loving that spoiler on it) and sounding VGT.

The Tomahawk GTS-R this is based off of is MR, and we have no idea how it drives since it hasn't been playable in any demo.

Videos from me driving at Essen Motor Show coming up later this evening when I'm home or tomorrow. I apologize for my crap driving in advance (Only my second time driving with a wheel). Short rundown: Brands Hatch Indy was featured in the build, and I picked the Mustang Gr. 3 around the Nordschleife. My full opinion/review will be up when I'm home.

Exactly my thoughts when I saw it.

Anyway: here are my thoughts on the build.

First of all: the game looks pretty as hell. Everything is so much more detailed, the lighting is just great, and so on and so on. The menu was quite limited, only Arcade could be selected. If I clicked on the other options, nothing happened. Still, the menus are very clean, smooth amd easy to navigate through. Then I proceeded to the track selection. I selected the Nordschleife, and then I was given the option to choose between two different starting times. 15:00 or 20:00. I chose 15:00. Now on to the driving bit. I thought I disabled all driving aids, though I forgot about turning off TCS. Still, it felt really, really good. The physics are quite good, and since I've played Project CARS with a wheel once, I can definitely say that the physics are at least on par with PCars, if not even better. Though it still happens that if I get onto the grass, the car almost doesn't slow down. Still, apart from that, it felt really good.

Video is up by the way:

Question: does the video seem sped up at some point? For me, it looks like it's been played at twice the speed halfway through the video.

AI looks good-ish there, still way too slow though, and noticed the grass spun the car there. Great driving though.

Yeah, about 2/3rds through it speeds up 30-50% - quite odd. Footage looks really good though. Was this the most difficult AI setting? Was this with base PS4 as well? Cheers

Ah, probably because it hasn't redered properly im Adobe Premiere Elements. The AI difficulty was set on Professional, the highest level. And yup, it ran on the standard PS4 system. 👍
