I'm really curious of what happened with the livery on Ferrari 458 GT3. I hope it's not just plain red in the final game, especially considering this livery, which can be found on a video on GT's official Youtube channel. It's a blink and you'll miss it moment, but I saw it:

Looks pretty nice, reminiscent of the AF Corse livery. Hope Ferrari isn't annoying about this.

We also supposedly have not seen a single car use the Livery editor, hopefully because they're not done with it, rather than another course maker situation.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but someone uploaded three direct feed GT Sport menu songs.

EDIT: Turns out these have been heard in GT5. :dunce:

I used the Shazam app to find the names and artists of the songs.

Unknown music 1 is Taku Yabuki - Memorabilia
Unknown music 2 is Akihisa Yamaguchi - The First Person
Unkown music 3 is Akihisa Yamaguchi - Beautiful Area

They are all also in Gran Turismo 5. :)
Pretty sure all three of these are GT5/6 OSTs. The first one was used in the Bathurst Trailer in GT6, while the third one is a GT5 menu music called "Memorabilia".

Seems like a really hard track to overtake on. It's all straights and high speed corners, no big braking zones to pull alongside. And it's relatively narrow with no run off.

Probably fun for hotlapping, probably not that good for wheel to wheel action.

Nice. Shame they still haven't got night working.

probably designed to satisfy the japan player due to the whole wangan c1 thirst~

I think this is the first time we've seen the NSX playable in the game? Yeah we already seen it appearance on PSX trailer but not ready to being driven yet looking from any footage we have got from PSX, only as an AI car if I remember.

That Japanese text at the bottom right just above the car list though. Rolling car description?

Fast track is about pression, the overtaking is possible when the opponent is cracked
And for night condition, i thought the same thing, but it s possible there re keeping it for later at a full presentation.
We can check the Oval track if there is, because on the last trailer there re a night version
And..Tokyo express without night version is unacceptable :embarrassed:

You mean pressure? I suppose, but it means that people who don't crack under pressure can just defend all day and night. So it's fine for amateurs who get shaky when there's someone close behind them, but no good for people who are seasoned racers.

Honestly, with good positioning on that track the person behind would have to be significantly faster to even have a shot at overtaking.

Yes pressure, Thanks
Sure but these people is not very common,
Its not a simple track who you can maintain your calm, like you said it's narrow, fast, it tends to crack you easily, of course if someone is chasing you very closely.
And i dont think on amateur races there is a close pace so the pressure is not there
We have a good exemple here, the 2 videos of the qualification and finale race, the guy have a very clean driving on the first, and the second one it s different causing him a lot of fault
Even with professionnal racer there is, pressure is one of core of racing

Yes, that s why it remembers me Touge like race, not for the point to point, but for the spirit

And the safety car :)

Looks like it might be a headlights issue. In the videos where the headlights are on they don't appear to be casting any light, which leads me to believe that it would cost too much in terms of processing power to enable it.

Which is a shame, I love night racing.

Hope the safety car is only selectable for time trial. It would be kind of strange to race the safety car, you know, considering it's supposed to slow things down not speed things up.

There have been a few videos now where I have noticed light reflections off the road and off the back of cars, but you are right, for the most part they seem to not yet be enabled in gameplay. I suspect this feature is still being worked on, and not something being entirely excluded. But your guess is as good as mine.

...So, the Lexus RC-F is classified as an N500 according to the above image. Hmm, so my previous assertion that the N-class thingy might be based on some sort of horsepower/low weight balance could be correct after all. Does that mean cars like TheFerrari or Lambo Veneno falls under N1000 or N800 or something?!

Edit: Just read @Marron's post over yonder at the General Discussions thread and got my confirmation. Yep, it looks like it's based off of some kind of horsepower based classification system.
