Why can't we have a Damn Demo.

Kaz promised a 'early 2016 beta', and was cancelled after saying we will have to 'wait till 2017' if there was a beta.

And now we are with No Beta.
He cancelled it so him and PD can have time to finish the game before its release last year. But of course they managed to delay it afterwards...

In my honest opinion a beta would not hurt GTS (unless PD knows what they are doing), and since it is online-only PD will need enough feedback from its players if the severs are running with issues or if they encounter bugs and glitches within the game. Other than that, a beta would give people the taste of what's to come in the full titles.

For me One car One tracks would be fine, plus I care less about online.

It doesn't matter how many days they're working on this game. It won't have damage at launch and then they'll add damage a month later!

Yeah, probably. If not damage, then rain. If not rain, then night racing. Can anyone really believe the game ships with damage, weather and night all running at a stable 60fps with a good net code?

They've been so completely silent on damage, rain and night so either they can't make it work or they are saving all of that for the next marketing push so they can blow our minds. Unfortunately, the first scenario is more likely.

I'm really curious of what happened with the livery on Ferrari 458 GT3. I hope it's not just plain red in the final game, especially considering this livery, which can be found on a video on GT's official Youtube channel. It's a blink and you'll miss it moment, but I saw it:

Looks pretty nice, reminiscent of the AF Corse livery. Hope Ferrari isn't annoying about this.
Well, not much on this one* just revealed for the Bathurst 12H

*probably due to sponsorship. Just saying :sly:

I don't see a problem with this one
Rally cars also drive/race on tarmac circuits

Not around race tracks like that they don't. The only time a rally car is on tarmac is a normal P2P stage, a short special stage or rallycross. They don't do standard closed circuit races just as GT3 cars don't suddenly start doing dirt rally stages.

Actually that might be because a GT3 would actually not function at all on a dirt stage.

It's a video game so i don't see a problem

It's not so much that it's a problem but that they give us that rather than the real things those cars are for. If it had both, fine, but it doesn't. They continue to give us rally cars, but without proper use for them.

Well no, that was just a random example off the top of my head. Yes, rally cars can race on circuits, but that isn't what they're built for. It'd be nice to be able to do that instead, y'know? Yes, there is a 'rally' track but that is still not right either.

Why can't they give us proper tight P2P rally stages or proper rallycross tracks?

Other games: We've got rally cars, so here is some rallycross tracks, mixture of dirt and tarmac, proper rallycross rules, 4 cars at the same time with elimination. You can also do 1v1 elimination races on this figure of 8 track. Or if you want, we've got a couple of tight P2P stages.

PD: We've got rally cars, so here is a super wide rally circuit with concrete tape barriers to race 1v1 on. That's it. Oh, you can race them on tarmac circuits if you like as well.

Rally cars are build for different type of undergrounds/circuits.Not just dirt

Yeah, from what I have seen of it, the course seems similar to a rally-cross stage, just with no dirt sections.

Would certainly be nice of them to give us some rally-cross courses.

Are you reading all of my posts? Yes, they can be built for racing on tarmac, but not on closed circuits like Willow Springs in traditional pack races.

They do this

And this

and this:

None of which we can so far do in GTS.

If you can find me a real world race/series that features rally cars on traditional closed circuits grip racing I'll concede the point.
