GTSport and Project CARS are both inferior to Assetto Corsa in terms of the Audio for the GT3 SLS. It's one of the less accurate sounding cars in the game.

It all depends on the situation and our point of view, so, I'd say in your own opinion.
There is too many people that says that Project Cars for example is the best sounding game out there, and for me, is one of the most exaggerated and digital sounding games in existence. The shifting particularly, in some cars, is worse than in GT.
That being said, is really hard to compare sounds, mainly because of the hardware utilized to record the sounds from the cars. Is not the same hearing the car, being inside of the car, to the recordings we usually get from official channels and all.
RaceRoom Experience is probably the most realistic sounding game in terms of replays in my opinion. I posted a video a few days ago about it. It sounds like being right there in the racetrack. But then, we can discuss the sound in the gameplay...

...Hmm. Did my best to translate, but there are some words I don't recognize in there so it's not literal.

"PS4Pro - Gran Turismo S Really great. GranSports supports PSVR Wish I could change the settings on the steering wheel
(Force feedback was at 0 and the angle on the wheel was 90` but this is a motorshow and there are only one or two regular people around (?) so it can't be helped Please fix soon) I'll buy a disc when it's out #Sony #PS4PRO #GTS #PS4PRO (again, but in Korean) #TS300RS Excited at the comeback of the great (?) enjoyable racing game after 5 years of absence - emoji - Response from the paddle shift is great & that Ferrari is really really pretty #GranTurismo S #GranTurismoS #458 #PS4 - meaningless emoji - even the wipers work kekeke"

So far, I'm not seen any footage of beta have wipers on (even on live stream), maybe you can give some proof? Not I didn't believe what you said, but a related video or link would help ;) 👍

I've seen some poor shmuck trying to do gis best on a stream, pushing all buttons on the controller and he accidentally turned them on. I can't remember his name, nor the name of the stream, though. However, you can trust me on this :D

Ok, no problem. Just want to make sure if someone did that on their beta (looks like I have to search it by myself later). Maybe we should ask @marvthegamer to do that?

Again, that is an off-screen video. You also can't read the name in yellow on the driver list, do you think it's like that on the actual screen? No, it's a result of the camera sensor not being particularly good.

Direct feed is the only way to truly judge it.

@Samus , when i told you the cockpit view in GTS is too dark than the others games, or simply than the real life... !!

I really think it's too hard to see the steering wheel, the hands and the cockpit ... And the videos are direct feed..

I think I've done quite my share of button mashing on GT Sport but I have yet to see working windshield wipers. I'll get on the case!:dopey::lol: Might be car dependent, so @Lord Protector do you remember what car it was?

just look at button mapping

Yes, just did that now. No option to map it to any controller (or wheel) button. Nor does there seem to be any "hidden" features (tried button mashing). I have not seen working windshield wipers in beta at all. There are however Racing: Intermediate, and Racing: Heavy Wet tires (tyres) present in beta, but inaccessible.

My first online race was as crazy as I explained it to be.

There was a couple of times I saw the Renault ahead of you get 4 wheels off the track to straighten out the corner. Does that impact your safety rating?

If you look at the top of the screen at 1:35 you'll see the SR penalty for that kind of driving.

What sucks is that it gives those points by sector, and most tracks/sectors will almost always overwrite any good behavior earned for the sector with the bad behavior regardless of how extreme it is/isn't. It's really bad on Tokyo and Nurburg. There's only a few sections on Brands and Willow where you can get both blue and red in a sector, but usually that's only if you made an error right by the end of the sector.

It's unbelievably frustrating on Tokyo because you can be in a tight pack driving cleanly but then ever so slightly brush an outer edge of a corner and get docked for the entire sector, like any decent driving doesn't matter. I lost 5 SR from one race that way.

I know it wasn't you (the poor shmuck)

However, I swear to Kaz I saw them working in the beta in a live stream, 100%. Although, there's no point in arguing, there is a video from another build showing working wipers

Found another 60fps replay footage :

Just like the previous Pro video there seems to be a lot of stutter/dropped frames there. Still needs work but glad it is an option.

Looks gorgeous though  , someone buy me a Pro.

This was my 1st Gr3 car. Nice to pilot but a pilot view up and down setting at least would be welcome. The wind screen to is right in the middle and turn difficult the good vision of the track.
That's pretty much the same problem the HSV-010 GT had. PD changed the view through an update (and forgot to provide us with the settings to adjust it).

@bdj57 it's just running on a mode with interpolation enabled, which artificially increases fps causing much higher input lag (reason why interpolation shouldn't be used in a game, although it's fine when using like this - for replay.

Imho it looks better with 30 fps cap anyway
