@bdj57 it's just running on a mode with interpolation enabled, which artificially increases fps causing much higher input lag (reason why interpolation shouldn't be used in a game, although it's fine when using like this - for replay.

Imho it looks better with 30 fps cap anyway

Okay I understand that. I also think that 30fps at replay is nice already but seeing replay in 60fps is just on another level. Also brought back memories when I watched replay in GT4, which goes 60fps and it is stunning for that time

@Samus , when i told you the cockpit view in GTS is too dark than the others games, or simply than the real life... !!

On the contrary, it looks quite similar like the real life brightness values. The problem is that your eyes can work with a much wider range of brightness than what your screen can produce, so when you're dealing with real life brightness values you either get an overexposed world or an underexposed interior, or a mix of both.

Here is an example from real life. in this video it looks like a cloudy day, so the brightness of the outside world is actually not that high. Still, the interior of the car is mostly black.

Here is an example from a sunny day. Overexposed world, underexposed interior.

To overcome this problem you need to artificially increase the brightness level inside the interior, i.e. make it much brighter than it is in the real world.

Theorically, that's something that HDR will improve A LOT.
As a photographer, I always have this kind of debates with collegues about how high our dynamic range is. I'm talking about our eyes compared to cameras, which is exactly what you exemplified here.

The human eye has a static contrast ratio of about 160:1 for things that are right next to each other, 10,000:1 if there’s at least a 4-degree separation, and about 1,000,000:1 for more than 90-degree separation.

The dynamic range is 100 trillion to one (not counting light that would be harmful to the eye, such as looking directly at the sun), so, yeah, I expect to have realistic interior brightness values with HDR.

I have been struggling to have time to play the beta between 4pm-7pm PST, but was able to sneak in the last Sport Mode GT3 race of the evening yesterday at Tokyo. I was happy to run a perfect race and take home the win.
I ran with no traction control and no ABS using the DS4 controller. I was able to limit wheel spin and get a good launch to move into the lead before the first corner. My first few races online I struggled with no ABS as I always brake later online to avoid being rear ended. This race I was able to keep a cool head and not have any major lock-ups 👍
I was a little worried when I saw traffic on the last lap, but luckily got by without any drama down the mid straight.

I feel like they downgraded it from previous builds.
For me now in beta it looks and sounds worse than this

How can it be worse? You're kidding me, right? I don't think it looks worse at all - lots of subtle changes have occurred throughout the development phase of this game graphics wise. Not a downgrade in anyway - would the development serious go backwards? That sounds dumb.

that 3rd person camera in GTS is truly awful

I personally like the cameras postioning in GT Sport, but the ability to change it up would be nice for personal preference. I don't like it when the camera isn't rigid to the car however. It doesn't feel like I know what's going on in terms of race line positioning and if something goes wrong, then how much correction should I give.

This was possibly one of the best races I have ever been apart of while racing online.

Very good performance mate, congratulations! but.. I don't like how the car turns transparent when you're going to hit someone. That can be used to overtake a driver, taking a risk that you would not take if you know that you're going to crash with somebody... (For example, your victory overtaking). However, awesome performance mate! :)

Just got my first win in Sport mode.

Edit: Won the Gr.4 race as well. Lots of good racing went on today lol
