I've noticed the N300 cars going significantly quicker on Sardegna than before. That's when I realized the tires look different. Looks like dirt tires will be available for cars, then.

The name "Dragon Trail - Seaside" indicates to me there will be many different variations of that track. Which would make sense given what we expect the total environment/track count to be, but seeing it spelled in that way makes things interesting. Given that this one is named Seaside, there could be a whole other portion of the venue we're not seeing here. Mountain? City?

Since there's suspicion of there being a possible road course for Blue Moon, I've drawn up a rough sketch from my observations.

(Note: For "blocked by objects", there was black screening covering up that part, so I'm unsure if it just is a straightaway. Surprised they didn't try to obscure the other bits.)

Also apologies for my chicken-scratch writing

If that's true, not a half bad guess.
Maybe that banked section is only part of the track, like a Daytona/Indianapolis Road Course type thing. Two ovals with a track list so small doesn't seem right.

Here's my footage of the two new tracks, both gameplay and replay:

I thought the naming conventions were interesting too, but I examined the track and didn't see any connecting/alternate variants/routes. That's not to say no others exist in the same location, but I don't think there'll be variations of this particular course.

If you take a closer take you can see the radiator in driveclub too. Both Polyphony Digital and Evolution Studios were obsessed with detail.

Quite right.

Damn, how could I forgot about that! :banghead: You guys were right though and that's reminded me. Their detailing are superb, as well with weather conditions (rain in DC looks gorgeous). What makes a difference between GTS and DC is the lighting I guess. GTS lighting model are in another level and it makes quite a difference imo.

It does indeed, however i would say that given the age difference DC still holds up damn well and still is ahead in overall detail when you include the environment. DC also gets a nod from me in terms of how they detail paint, still don't think anyone has bettered them on that and I hope to see the talent they have on future Codemaster releases.

GTS still has a little to much of that GT sterility to the environment from what I've seen. It's got better (and it's certainly not as bad as AC), but still looks too clean in comparison to the environment in PCars or DC.

Look in the quick setup. There are even snow tires. #snowtracksconfirmed :P

I agree GTS is too clean and sterile, maybe because PD want everything looks clean and organized, even the tracks. For AC, I think I will choose that over PCars, AC somehow almost being lookalike of GT for me, but with refined sounds and physics. I even thought AC is how GT7 is going to look like. But then, after I saw GTS footage it is completely different. Turns out it is graphically ahead from AC and on par with DC. As for PCars I didn't hate it but somehow it is not into me. Maybe because PCars is more emphasized on dramatic effects (too much effects on sound and the chase cam were too shaky) rather than being natural as GT and AC. At least that is what I thought, everyone could have different opinion.

Do any of you guyz have direct captures (or better quality source files than those youtube videos?).

If you do, I'm willing to compress them into high bitrate x265 videos that would look miles better than youtube compression, and maybe we can share those P2P over torrents.

Wouldn't Vimeo be more efficient than YouTube?

Dc is cool but the replys are terrible I was so upset because the game looks good.

Yes I agree Gran Turismo looks sterile and lifeless due to the lack of detail in environment, (also could be the fact that Gran Turismos trees do not sway or interact with the wind that makes it lifeless).

In terms of lighting I have mixed feelings mainly because, the lighting is superb in both games (not to mention driveclubs amazing weather effects of rain, snow in daylight or night time). When it comes to a sunny day GT sport seems to capture how the sun reflects(with glare) on the car better then how driveclub does it. But when it comes to detail Driveclub stands on top. In Driveclub you can even see how the light reacts with the paint color giving it's distinctive metallic look and this seems to be less noticable in GT sport for me in terms of detail (the only time I saw this was in the cinematic video of the vision gt trailer of this car (which is hard for me to pronounce :P)
