Dude, Your screenshots are Awesome!!! đź‘Ť

This is my first time seeing Dragontrail Seaside in action and I REALLY like it. I don't echo the concerns other people have about the tracks surrounding's. It's an imperfect location and environment. SWEEEET. It's a grander Ascari.

Maybe the environment will be dynamic the way certain tracks are in GT6 (Nurburgring Nordschleife, for example). This video takes place during a time when people aren't there to watch a race. It's just a track day. The sparse buildings, a crane in every section of the track, A yacht; it's brilliant. As long as we don't see Leo Di Caprio on that yacht with his sunbathing model friends, I think this track LAYOUT makes up for Tokyo Expressway ten times over.

Bro the track is beautiful and flows great, and for all the people saying the kerbs are to wide I learned the hard way trying to use the full width. Some of the kerbs are split into 2 parts the further part being higher! So you know how that ended.

And the mountains. I swear, PD's track development team have a fetish for mountains that's greater documented than Tarantino's fetish for feet.

Performance is on-point from what I got to play so far, though that was only one car on track. Seemed a perfect 60fps the entire time.

But gameplay graphics aren't that spectacular.

Texture filtering is dreadful. Hills in the background are a smeared, low res mess. Aliasing issues abound. Seems like they're using some sort of custom solution that decreases jaggies, but creates a very dirty looking outline to objects, reminiscent of the custom AA used in Far Cry 4 on consoles. And I'm just not very impressed with the quality of the assets, at least on Dragon Trail.

It's not bad looking by any means, the lighting thankfully saves a lot, and I'll take reduced graphics for a solid 60fps anyday in a game like this, but I'm very far from wow'd and I was hoping for a bit more considering the stripping of weather, dynamic time of day and nighttime.

EDIT: Note, this is on base PS4 - direct PNG capture, transferred to PC via USB then converted to lossless JPG for filesize savings. This is exactly how it looks when playing, no quality loss from compression or anything.

First race and first win.

Not the most thrilling of races as I set pole and lead from the start, but it 1080p 60fps footage from a PS4 Pro of Brands Hatch GP.

Evora at Dragon Trail, Cockpit and Replay will be next.
