Did all 3 races on Blue Moon Bay today, wanted to see if there's any improvement in the SR drops/increases there since the last patch. Turns out it actually got worse on that track. I've uploaded videos of all 3 races to showcase what is wrong with these races right now. Main thing that's wrong is that almost no one seems to be able to drive on ovals properly without just using other drivers as a wall. I honestly expected a bit more from a S rank race there.

Conversely, I had 3 good races at the Speedway last night. I wasn't expecting it as my previous races there had been a bit mad, but it must have been a better crowd of drivers last night. Special shout out to @Nico_Ble99 who I was in very close proximity with for 2 very good races.

in the end i hope there will be custom lobbies in the retail!

@daan btw, i was leveled D/A that night at the ring! did not notice that my SR went up. so i might be a D rated driver but i guess my qualification time was good enough to race with B's and C's (DR)!

My first go at the new patch and the car did seem to slide a lot more than in the handful of quali laps I managed to do. Also this was the most bug filled sessions I've ever had!

The grid changed after the warmup, putting people all over the place (demoting me from 2nd to 9th), then when it started the grid was as it was originally, only the poor guy on pole started halfway round t1 and was last! I recorded it all for posterity... including me trying to blow an easy win...




Also I must confess... some of these themes for the ShareFactory are pretty cool ^^

The grid after warmup shows where you were for the warmup period. The grid right before the start shows where you actually are starting. At least that is what I think happens when the grid on the screen switches after practice and then just before the race. The glitch where drivers start off the grid, my friends and I think is due to parking off track or off roading at places like Willow during the warmup as the race is about to begin. I know of someone who tried to reproduce that on Willow and was able to do so.

Now if only the Mustang GIF's is slightly polished with realistic damage and I can call it a day. Also IRL the Corvette would spun and go off track caused by the contact from spinning Mustang imo. Good job btw, nice work 👍

Here's a race I had last night with @Firehuntah. I say "with" but he wasn't really in sight for long, altough he did have a moment at Adenauer Forst, and I got back past him, but again, not for long.




This one is part of the first lap at Brands in the Gr4s. I'm in my Megane against the GT-R hordes. It all goes so well for the first half of the lap, but then I could have done with some ghosting...

Just to point out, the first gif from my first day of playing GT Sport. Loved how the shot of me spinning around after hitting the curb and grass. Sadly the crash with the corvette ruined it due to the bump effect. It looks unrealistic.

Yeah I'm not sure that's quite right, least about the warm-up grid. After the warm up I'm in p4 but the post warm up grid puts me 9th.

The other part about going off road and it messing up your actual grid slot is interesting though...

Nice looking gifs but that Mustang spin looks arcadish. The back end of the car behaves the same on the grass as it does on the tarmac. In reality, when the front of the car was on tarmac and the back on the grass while sideways, the rear of the car should have come around very quickly due to the vastly different grip levels.
