Well I remember some people didn't like it when we saw this new home screen because it was said too busy, while the old one is more simple and clean. Idk but for me the new one is okay I guess... Just my own preferences though. It is not all over the place or anything. I think it is quite in order and neat. And somehow reminds me of GT5 Prologue home menu.

Good observation, for sure it's something we haven't seen in GT Sport yet.

I agree with you. The menu is smooth and everything has it's place without being total overloaded.
There are all information displayed and still there is a huge space for a nice scape prasentation... I would say it's successful!
Would love to see it like this in the final game.

I don't say the new one is not good, I'm just pointing that some people didn't like the new ones and prefer the old menu. Btw I like both menus tbh, it gives and bring a simple modern minimalist design and elegant presence to the game.

I have watched the clip several times but I doesn't seem to be High Speed Ring. When it turns towards the left there should come a tunnel but instead in turns once more with a banking to the right. Hmm could be wrong though because footage could repeat itself....Or it could be the S's part of GT1 High Speed Ring

Part from 22 seconds towards 34 seconds

IMO that's a Reverse version. After a long straight there's a right corner and left (S's) which is leading to tunnel. (not shown in video.)

Could it be the alternative layout of Blue Moon Bay? Because the resemblance is quite similiar, and there is long banking curve. The only difference is the car heading to the direction we never seen before.

I watched the whole video and track seems to be a Nothern Isle Speedway and Blue Moon Bay Mix.

I didn't see any resemblance to Northern Isle tbh, mostly Blue Moon Bay though. Idk if those track connected at each other but I doubt both being in the same area/location.

The track in Nissan video is Tokyo Expressway C1.

I posted several pics yesterday where it shows that it is probably not the case. It seems much more that we have SSR 5 Clubman we are looking at. There are doubts about that Nissan vid I admit but even in the official musical announcement it doesn't confirm it is TEW C1.

Yeah, but I'm OK with that word. In PS3 era the quality gap between the best moments and worst moments was pretty large, and PD know it. I'm glad that it is something that is constantly on their minds this time around.

Kaz has good reason to be nervous. This is a very competitive year for racing games. PCARS 2 and Forza 7 both come out before GT Sport, so they'll be setting the bar for it.

Being nervous is normal. We are humans anyway so having under pressure situation could make you tense and nervous. Judging by what it seems in that video alone, Kaz is looking serious and trying to give his best with GTS until this moment and I believe he is not (he should not) playing around this time. Perhaps he have a lot of thoughts in his mind and might already planned next strategy after GTS is released to face serious and tough competition in this new era of racing games.

Well I might too generalized my opinion then, I apologize. Anyway, this is the first video I saw Kaz like this, maybe some people here knows better how Kaz usually behave.

No need to apologize:tup:. In general you're right. I'd probably crap a brick if it was me and my game I was talking about. But Kaz has done this many times and always come across as calm, cool and in control, but sometimes like a kid talking about something new and exciting and wanting to just scream, "this is the greatest thing ever!!", but isn't allowed to appear too excited. I've never seen him appear to be nervous so it's a bit out of character. Of course many things could contribute to that and we're only speculating anyway.

Stress can also be a positive thing. It could mean that PD is working really hard to make GT Sport as good as possible. The competition has never been this fierce, like @Master Weasel said. So if they're working hard to improve GT Sport, then that's a positive thing. They can't afford another delay, so pressure must be really high.

To quote myself. I think this image could also give more clearance if we are looking at the SSR 5 stage. The capture below is from GT6 and the red circle right is where the Nissan from the video finds itself and the left red circle shows the road at the left of the Nissan. Ignore circle in the upper screenshot from the Nissan itself...

Notice how even the buildings on the right seem to be the same ones. Of course GT S is a bit more detailed but structure seems to be the same. Markers on the road at the right have the same layout.

Yes and no. I think they're looking at the competition to see what makes them popular, but PD still tries to do their own thing. They could be trying to improve the physics, force feedback, and overall trying to improve the whole game.

Or maybe they're not worried about the competition, but worried about disappointing the fans, and thus losing customers and sales for the next GT game.

Or maybe Kaz just needs some sleep.
