Have we seen this rolling road image before?

That location has been around for a while. It's kind of old.

What an awesome place to work.

I immediately thought Power Rangers with the arms folded, standing at various angles - all brought together by the expertly placed lighting on their faces. I had to lol about that.... then again, that is a pretty dope picture.
ohhh YEAH It's easy to make pictures like that look bad. I think they nailed it.

>_>........ok
I've had Fat Bastard in my mind this past week and wanted to introduce you.

@doblocruiser To be honest you might be correct about this one being a new track. I just watched all the footage I recorded from Tokyo Expressway and can't seem to find a spot where that road could be dividing from original TEW layout. Good point!

@Zlork

Are you sure it is Tokyo because the trailer doesn't give an indication for this. It could as well be SSR5 don't you think?

@Zlork This one is for sure the Inner Loop of TEW in reverse. But the other one seen in trailer looks a bit different, trains, wider roads + while following the TEW it's hard too see the road branching. So maybe we can see additional Japaneese location. Just a speculation, nothing more. 👍

At 0.49.

It's pretty sure it's a layout a Tokyo Expressway.

@Gr4ndy the last pictures shows a bit of resemblance but is off because the tracks turns right at the end of the uphill and not left as shown in the picture (videocapture I posted). Therefore I really have a doubt if it is TEW :embarrassed:

@Zlork It could be but the video doesn't really show any confirmation or proof tbh ;)

Those 2 picutres above are for sure showing the same track, in reverse. I'm just curious about the other one at 0:49 and 2:31. It seems much wider + there are the trains, which are not present in Central Loop. If we follow the road above Central Loop, it's just the same layout but above for other direction of traffic.

Interesting to say at least 👍

edit: If Tokyo would be a location there could be several layouts and tracks in this region:
  • Tokyo Express Way
  • Special Stage R11
  • Special Stage R7
  • Special Stage R5
  • Tokyo R246
If I remember correctly those SSR stages are based on Tokyo.

Yep, these places indeed match! Great observation! :)

It could be that this isn't just a reverse layout though.

Kaz looks nervous though... Such a rare sight where usually he was seen a bit calm and always give a little smile to the camera. It seems like Kaz really relying on his new direction of GT giving the opportunity for the beginners and novice players. What I could say is wish you all the best Kaz, hope GTS met with most of people expectations when launched 👍.

Does this mean that we can customise interiors?

Probably, but would better if we waiting for clear evidence if we able to do that in a game. It could be just like GT6 where interior colors followed the paint scheme you choose with, but hopefully there is some changes in GTS.
