I found this video today, the sound from the outside is really life like to me.
The videl quality isn't good, focus on the audio.

Tbh before the patch of 1.06 in the Beta this car sounded like a proper v10 in before they released the patch of 1.06 (showcasing new backfire sounds) and that distinctive v10 roar was gone only to be heard in replay mode nearby the camera

before 1.06 patch ( Replay mode had the famous cry of a whale)

after 1.06 patch ( Gone was the v10 roar heard in the chase cam)

after the patch of 1.07 and 1.08 (as shown in the video) the whale crying sound has been muffled so atleast that was good but still too weak reverb in comparison to real life.

And since then the engine sound of the car itself left me unsatisfied there is not enough "ROAR" in the v10, so in my opinion not really accurate as it does not capture that distinctive roar. IMO ofcourse.

From a visual point of view, the rally gameplay doesn't look convincing to me, like if the car has no sense of weight and no grip. Just an impression.

Cars don't have much grip on gravel and grass. The rally driver in that video doesn't know how to drive a rally car on gravel, that's why it doesn't look like what you see when real rally drivers drive. He's applying grip-racing instead of gravel-racing techniques. Basically, he needs to turn the car into the corners way more aggressively and slide through them while applying throttle, at least through those really long corners.

I think your making excuses for the poor Rally visuals in GT Sport.
I thought the same thing.Cars look like there floating on the dirt.
Driving style has nothing to do with it.
Agreed. GT has never looked convincing with rally, always that same floating type of look. Poor weight transfer and offroad grip physics don't help either. Looks pretty arcade to be truthful.

Those would all be nice surprises, especially the Cayman GT4 - I have a nasty feeling they'll try to sneak that damn 718 in when/if they decide to debut the Cayman on PS4 GT.

And I'm a bit jealous that FM7 is getting a C6 Grand Sport (I think that's the one they get, along with ZO6/ZR1), so that would be very welcomed! I love the C7, but the C6 is what sparked my love for recent Corvettes.

I'd love the Cayman. Very weird ad though, they picked 3 games that have no similarities. Nier, COD and GTSport.

The only similarity that matters (as with previous similarly styled ads) is that they are all on PlayStation, which is the point.

While barely audible, the Toyota TS030 already sounds way different from GT6 or builds before it.

I agree with you here man. That looks a lot like grip technique.
