"Race for your favorite manufacturer."

Welp... uh... *walks away :("

That is exactly what got me excited since Poly seems to have a very good relation with Peugeot!

This combined with french heritage in Motorsport I really hope we will see some early 1900 stuff and an expansion of our carroster :D

I have to say, I'm slightly disappointed.

The graphics really don't look great, compared to the stunning NFS 2015 and even Project Cars it just looks like a remastered GT6. Everything is too matt (sign of a bad game engine) and not as detailed as I was expecting.

Calling it GT Sport leads me to believe its a half baked interim title, I don't get this whole represent your country thing, is it an online only title? If it was a full blown thing surely they would have called it 7.

GT finally enters into racing with a true sport (competition, championships) focus. iRacing for the masses.
Hope to see from simple rule settings to advanced/true-to-life ones.

Graphically still has the best shaders in the business.

There are sooooo many "what does this mean" moments in the trailer...

They talk extensively about Motorsport history, I really wonder how much that will be entailed...

I saw a few road cars, but mostly race cars, and this seems Motorsport-based, so where do they fit in?

And a big one, is this merely a change in title pattern but still a true sequel to GT6, or a new, focused spinoff series entry while a full GT7 is prepped?

No matter what way it goes, a PS4 will be entering my life very soon, for sure.

EDIT: Also, what's with the age range of "7 to 77"? Like really, can that really be anything other than a hint of GT7?

What do you guys think, is Gran Turismo 7 a title that isn't going to happen? Or is this game Gran Turismo 7 Prologue with a different name and focus, with Gran Turismo 7 development in full swing? There's still some questions here.

That said, I'm hyped.

PD set the benchmark for car visuals in the last gen and when you look at how good Need For Speed and DC looks it wouldn't surprise me if this isn't pre-rendered.

Gran Turismo 7 might arrive later. It would seem this 'spin off' is their main focus right now.

What?

I'm still dissapointed as I thought this was GT7, but go watch the trailer again the graphics look insane.

I'm sure this is the future of Gran Turismo brand.

That looked completely pre-rendered so I'm withholding all judgement.

Did see the Aston GT3, new Miata, SLS AMG, and I think the Alfa 4C? Not sure if I noticed any other new cars or not.

Edit: The new Audi R8 GT3 as well. And the Lambo Veneno.

Took me a bit before I realized what your saying

Hay hay. Imagine this:

"GT Sport.... Coming soon to your GT6"

Well after seeing the trailer on the official channel with "PS4 Exxlusive" in the title, I think you can rule that out now.

One things for sure. Even though the emphasis is on FIA motorsports, there remains a focus on road cars, which is one of the reasons I love the series. My worry is, will we still get to buy and upgrade the cars like we could in previous GT games or will the format be changed completely?

PD seem to have gone for the photorealistic look with their graphics engine.

Even though its probably pre-rendered.
I thought that was real footage... but now I see the LMP. Omg that looks great!

I am honestly a very excited for this game. Its going to be a real racing simulator! :D

Exactly, how do anyone know its pre-rendered when we haven't even seen what GT looks like with PS4 graphics?
