I'm making the claim that if it is a real location, it will be discovered quickly, because of the size and resourcefulness of the GT community. Fans have done an amazing job figuring out the past teasers, so I wouldn't expect any less of this one. There are a lot of clues in this teaser, so I have faith that it will be found if real and think it's a reasonable conclusion that it's fictional if not found.

If a real track worthy of inclusion in GT Sport is coming and this teaser is near it, there is no reason to think people wouldn't figure it out.

If it's a fictional track "inspired" by a real area (like Dragon Trail,) it's still fictional.

In response to the bold. I agree the track is fictional, but the area doesn't suddenly become fictional because of it.

As for your claim I know what you claimed, but your absolution on said claim is the issue. It's one thing to make a claim, it's entirely different thing to make a claim as if it is fact or nigh fact. There hasn't been much given, and so while you have a belief members will figure it out, it probably will take more than this to do so. As for fictional vs non-fictional I was never talking about real world tracks. What I was was saying was that people seem to be arguing that this is a fictional track, but can't decided if it's based in a fictional area (GVS or DF) or a non-fictional area (NY, Rome, Seoul).

I honestly just thought this was a photo location or something they were showing off.

I'm hoping it's not a useless track like Sierra and a city track is only going to cause more mayhem in sport mode unless it's a wide city track.

However, if it's Grand Valley Speedway, I may just lose my ****!:lol:

Upon further inspection, it's grand valley without a shadow of a doubt. View attachment 749579 View attachment 749580
The bridge does not seem to match the original layout of the map, and it seems to be too long compared to this:

The layout seems to be identical, they just removed the tunnels. I can't see whats behind the tower or the tents/ buildings, hence the circles.

In the beginning it does look a bit convincing given the mountains in the background just before reaching the tunnel to the bridge going into reverse:

But as we approach the bridge this is where things start to get weird.

The layout itself looks out of place given even if they have removed the orginal tunnel's (which happens to be two mountain connected as the river splits the land):

Compare that with the picture you have shown and you can see something is way off.

But I could also be wrong and they completely revised the way the bridge connects the land (but why remove the mountains/tunnels since it has always been there since GT1?)

I was thinking that PDs with GTS they are making original tracks on existing locations and if they are doing the same thing with classic tracks, creating them on existing locations...
It would be nice if this were the case just to see the result.[/QUOTE

I'm disappointed the kind of responses I read here are 'I don't want this track to come in because it would be unFIAble'. People don't even buy games for fictional fun anymore.

This game Franchise is famous for its fantasy tracks Pd Have developed in the last 20 years Fantasy track doesnt mean not "FIAble"

He meant the classic tracks like Grand Valley/Trial Mountain. Finding real world locations that would fit their layout.
Ah oke my bad

I agree we are talking about multiple things: a location that could be real or fictional, a track that could be real or fictional, or something else completely. The teaser shows a location, so that can be found to be real. If it is found to be real, we can then start to speculate about whether it's part of a track, there's a nearby track or it's some other hint entirely.

I never intended to speak in absolutes. I was basically just laying out my reasoning for a real vs fictional location. If you look at my posts, you'll see it's littered with wording intentionally meant to be non-absolute: betting, faith, reasonable conclusion, wouldn't expect, etc.

Even in that short clip, we have a body of water, a bridge with some detail, a castle (or something similar in design,) and a mountain, so I challenge (in the friendliest manner) your assertion that "There hasn't been much given..." I'll add that a fictional location that is "inspired" by a real location is still fictional.

All that's needed for this game is Mazda 787B,McLaren P1,Porsche 918 and few GT1 cars,Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and exhaust backfire bug fixed for ps4 pro/4k tv combo...

Hoping it's not Sierra. Awful, boring and uninspiring track IMO.

A few more modern road cars coming along with the new track would be cool as well.
Sierra is not something highly desired that deserves a 'tease' almost a month in advance.
I also hope it is not Sierra.

I don't know how but...that seriously looks like the Toyota GT-One.

The image itself looks like circuit de la sierra. I looked at other videos from GT6 of the track and I noticed the mountain is around about the same place for one of the bridges, The tower must have been added to give it more character.

Judging by the pixels arrangement that definitely looks like the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Version.

For the track, my bet is that we are getting a new version of Grand Valley, not a 1:1 of the original.

Nah it’s definately the midget I can tell!

But if the wings etc etc don't provide any performance benefit then whats the point?
I'm late to the party. One thing I'll say to this, are the wheels we change. There is no performance advantage to fitting a lighter wheel or heavier wheel, in this game. Then, what's the point in being able to change them?

Now, about that red and white object, with the black things on the side. Could be this:

The parts you're showing aren't in the picture at all.. your pictures refer to the turns following the vista , you have the track flipped !
