Personally I find this a little disappointing unless the track ends up being really good or Grand Valley. A new fantasy track would most likely be a step down from Sierra. I really liked that track. Shame it's not returning.

What I really, really, really don't understand is why Red Bull Ring isn't in GT Sport. They did such a phenomenal job on it in GT6.

Looking at the bridge.... High Speed Ring?

The water part looks similar although the dam was non-existent in the teaser.

Oh god, I seriously hope not. I cannot stand that track. It is so boring. It's bad enough we have to race so much on Monza. Less boring tracks with almost no turns, and more tracks like Nordschliefe, or Maggiore. Plus, where's laguna Seca?

I really don't understand the hate for Alsace. It's one of the only GTS fantasy tracks I think PD did right. I love racing it with Gr.4 cars and love driving road cars like the 1972 Alpine on it. It has such a terrific flow but requires precision, has really enjoyable elevation changes, and it's by far the most visually appealing track in GTS.

Yeah I grown to like it but then my driving style suits it.

I'm not opposed to having no run off - this is a natural hazard that you should take into account. Further to this, I feel the corners have plenty of room even if you mess it up. Its no Macau that's for sure.

IMO going forward. the corners are well telegraphed and its fairly obvious where the tight ones are.

Going backwards, you just need to learn where the apex, brake points are because some are pretty sudden.

HOWEVER I love the way the road is wide and I just take it as a big extended drift course where in a normal race you can hang the tail out. The elevation changes helps in drift if you know where the gradient can help or hinder your drift.

Its not the best they ever did but its above average. If they extended it like Dragon Trail I'd be ok with it.

I quite liked Rouen but the last time we saw that was over 20yrs ago with a title a few people would remember... Gran Prix Legends...

Which is in the North of France, as it's the Capital of the Normandy region.

I think this might be the closest thing we have to what was shown in the teaser.

The castle, the parking lot next to it and the bridge fit the teaser if it was mirrored, which it seems PD did judging by this. Only differences are the actual terrain, which is understandable if they've gone for a fictionalized locale in PACA.

Quite interesting, how close you seemed to have gotten to what the teaser showed. And your first post too, I don't know if you're just lucky or you showed your hand too soon.

What if the back straight of Deep Forest is now over a bridge? Kaz did say they were working on it and if I remember correctly it's the only classic original mentioned by PD thus far! I'd also love for it to be Paul Ricard, but given the fact we now know it's not a real bridge I think that idea is dead.

Traditional yes but I think this may have been the original vision that the team had but couldn’t put out on the previous systems due to restrictions we may see entirely new design of the famous GT circuits.

Very excited...
True, but would’ve imagined they kept the length of the track. It wouldn’t be right to race the same track but blown up in size. The hairpins wouldn’t be hairpins no more, but high speed U-turns

But, I would happily take it. I’m excited too.

If it's a fictional track in the south of France then cool, let's see what it is. Could be great, could be average, willing to give it a shot. But with teasers like this, unprecedented so far for GT Sport, it's making me think it's going to be something special.

If it’s going to be a street track, I hope they’ll at least make it look like it’s actually based on public roads... narrow or variable width, side streets, actual junctions/crossings, traffic signs and lights, houses close(ish) to the street, realistic corners that you could actually encounter on a public road
I am a big fan of road courses. In AC there have been a lot of made by people. I dont have a PC but been watching the track updates in that game. Like Bavaria near München. It like driving through the Eifel. Driving through villages and roads is just a big dream. Just the graphics are not that good. PD can do that a lot better of course.

My main issue for GTS road courses is that it will never be realistic because PD will add banks and curbs. Even on a road course, thus taking away the biggest charm of a road course. But I hope I am wrong. Being able to drive through a big area online would be brilliant. But of course that would be a different game on itself. So this will never happen in an update. Still I am hoping for a nice road course, but without the race elements.

Maggiore is amazing. It didn't feel like a PD track, and for a short while I thought it was a real world track.
I did not know it was fictional untill months later. I think more people have no idea.

I would plan too on the lake of Sainte Croix .. a beautiful corner north of Georges du Verdon..with the addition of a fictional bridge

Perhaps the "Addition" of a Bridge, was the only way to complete a Circuit ?

As for any potential event updates, "Real" Multi-class racing please. It's like, right there!

Just divide the classes evenly. With 16 choices, a player could select up to16 different classes for a race. Surprised Gr. X isn't in there, but I'm thinking this might have been an initial idea PD had.
