So, the project 44 car. I’m going to make a guess, and say that it’s going to be the AMG One in a specific Lewis Hamilton setup.

The AMG One isn't in the game. The Project 44 car is a car that is already in the game, with visual upgrades and a livery.
At the moment we don't really know. I've asked about it and it seems to be a car that's already in the game (a Mercedes, of course!) but with some visual differences and a unique livery (which will be instantly copied for the base version of the car).

100% sure about this? It is entirely possible the AMG One is added in this update.

As noted in the article, don't rule out the C9, A45 AMG, SLS GT3, SLS AMG, AMG GT S. Could be liveries for any one of them.

I feel like as a game player I will be disappointed if I can't beat Lewis's times, but as a relatively slow driver I will be disappointed if I can beat Lewis's times.
So what's the best option for you then?:lol:

I'm going to wait and see how other people here get on with it :gtpflag:, and if it looks like it would be too difficult there is little point buying it, but if I am in with a chance of beating all the times then obviously it's time for me to get an ARDS licence :cheers:

Fair enough.

I'm talking about the content of the DLC. You're here rambling about lining Lewis' pockets... But also he that doesn't need our money. Sounds like you've had enough $7 beers for the night.

It's equally funny when people make GT planet accounts just to tell people how to feel about video game.

Read the whole comment next time.

I forgot how brutal these update threads can get. Just tried to speculate that there may be something else in this DLC to help justify it being paid content, but here we are.

LOL whos rambling...dont take it so personally mate, its just a video game

This is the approach I'm going to take, as well.

I can't help wondering whether the arrival of paid DLC (I have no issues with this, By the way) brings us a step closer to GTS being free on PlayStation plus.

Laguna Seca will be a DELIGHT! ^^ However I'm only an intermediate driver and I'm not interested in enraging myself for the cred cap increase.

In the last twenty years can’t think of a televised race that’s had bad weather, Jumping in here a bit late in case I missed it, but not expecting weather, but hope there's the usual different time of day.

Have you ever been to Monterey?? I live an hour and half from there. The weather there is very inconsistent. I can be sunny one minute and the next its over cast. I was there for the IMSA race and it was perfect weather for race day and the very next morning I woke up in the hotel room to find everything wet. It rained all night and that very next day. But in your defense, they have been very lucky on race day to not have rain or bad weather.

If the Mercedes-AMG One was to come to GTS, do you not think that PD would be hyping it up as it is going to be a phenomenal machine with an adapted F1 engine? I know I would and it makes perfect sense. I think even PD that are part-time logic users wouldn't miss that opportunity. The One isn't finished yet as they are having issues with such a complex drivetrain, which is perfectly understandable, and the final spec may not be set in stone.

What a machine it appears to be though. Amazing stuff.

The fact that PD are keeping it vague is that there is nothing special about the cars. I reckon they will come with all power and weight upgrades, a special set-up and a Project 44 livery.

So I'm trying to understand from a customer standpoint why I should pay for something that's essentially already in the game?

I am a customer itself, from a different customer standpoint, too. I am not a diehard LH fans, but for me personally it would be great to virtually race with him 1 by 1, even I know I might not able to beat his time. This kind of feeling is not already exist in the game (at least for me). So yeah, paying for prestige.

But I could understand, different people, different customer, different perspective, some people would just look for LHTTC times and reproduce it by using normal time trial without racing with LH's ghost. And thats completely fine.

Are there any details about the Special Cars on the other page?

:D

Rumor has it these will be the four special prize cars, each coming with a unique LHdesign livery :

Don't ask for a source - the source is "rumor" :dunce:  ...

I can see the CLK. However, that Stirling Moss 722, that car alone would be $15.00. If it were to come, it'd have to be 20mil. Maybe 30 mil since the Cr will be unlocked for those players. ;):sly:
