God knows I love Japanese rice buckets but FIVE of them in one shot is kind of a bit much UNLESS they continue this trend and do 5 Euro machines and then 5 American classics etc.

Its only fair. A theme pack if you will.
Actually I like this theme pack thing, it's interesting to see some SGT500 cars comes in one month and another month is several Gr.C, it's fun. Maybe someday we'll get a Lotus pack?

As much as I'm always positive when PD adds new updates and I really appreciate their support for the game, this is a disappointing move by them. Teasing SPA on social media in such a hype way, showing it on world tour event and then deciding to not adding it in the update like everyone expected is just....I don't have words for this.
Only disappointing because you don't know why it's not coming. Which I'm sure is a logical reason.

That's not a bad idea! Overdue for some new race cars, but I can't help but get early Gran Turismo nostalgia with what we got. Themed packs might be the only way to keep everyone pleased. :)

Honda S2000 '99, GT2 vibes , i remember when i saw this car at the first time in that game, really op in the respective class.
S2000 vs PT Spyder vs Fiat coupe.

I need 3000GT plate in the GTO.

Coupe WRX 1999 with the Cashmere Yellow color and gold rims from the Sedan WRX 1999.

I will never understand the complaints, really. Like, if we had paid an extra $50 or whatever for a season pass for this DLC and features were being removed, then of course I’d understand. I’d be angry, too. And I know this point has been made before, but all of this is free. What’s there to complain about? I’m personally ecstatic to see the cars in this update, as these sorts of cars are what I think of when I think of GT. Yes, I’d like more race cars, and yes, I’d like a few more modern cars, too, but if I’m getting them for free, like, it’s hard to complain.

PD falls short again. Trust me its hard for me to knock an AP1 S2000 or a Twin Turbo GT (3000GT) but for a game that is sanctioned by the FIA and its two biggest draws for online play are the Nations and Manufactures cup. So why is there hardly any racing cars being added, or might I say be added at such a slow rate. I get that a lot of work goes into creating new cars but there are plenty of premium racing cars from GT6 that could be implemented that would not require half the time to add. It is nice to have rain/wet racing but I can almost be sure that the tracks that will have this feature will not extend to any other circuit except A1 Rin.......Red Bull Ring. I get this feeling full effort is switching to next gen GT. We were told Formula E is a possibility, not happening. As for Spa, I was expecting it in this update but I am not surprised that it is not. Not that it was offical from PD but same with wet, will be month after being confirmed.

I never cared for rain in the first place but I've been spoiled by the 24 mins of Le Mans dynamic weather last time so to have just constant rain on A1 ring (which IMO isnt a great track) is just not a disappointment to me... it just nothing.

I think the sentiment is that people expected Spa, the memes, the expectation, the satisfaction its finally here.

And the disappointment and then the utter hilairity of PD's 'bad circumstance' to put it charitably.

They could have at least given us ANY track that they undoubtedly already have made up.

I'm probbly one of the few who believe that like GT5, PD already have a slew of premade tracks, I'm guessing mostly 'originals', which they can drop at any time.

A track isnt made in a month.

With the news a while ago that PD has had Spa all set for the game for some time with licensing issues holding it up from being in the game, I'm inclined to believe that the licensing issues didn't get sorted until last minute, too late for the update.

This has already been speculated here and to me is the most logical explaination.

Rain finally. Looks amazing. Hope all tracks eventually get it.

This guy worked at the FIA event when they first showed rain 2 months ago. Guess they're drip feeding rain updates since they're working on new tracks at the same time.

has pd pushed the ps4 pro to a new level and this is why the rain took long to come to come ??

They ARE giving "us ANY track that they undoubtedly already have made up." They're giving us Red Bull Ring, with rain, for free, which we all know was already made because it was used in an event a couple of months back and has been refined since, because we also all know "a track isn't made in a month".
I'm convinced that they held off fully completing Spa until they had a license agreement (why bother going the extra mile to full-detail complete something that you legally can't release?) and now they have the go-ahead, refinements will be taking place. I'm inclined to think it can't be included this month because an agreement came too late, and it's a wonder they managed to have it stable and running for World Tour.
I'm not a fan of you framing every complaint you have as if it's the feeling of everyone else and everyone agrees with you (your earlier post "this is all of us right now" quite annoyed me, because Spa is just Spa and this is the exact same non-release that happened with rain last time and everyone survived and nobody sold or destroyed or boycotted over it).

5 JDM cars is fine, especially 2 years after release, when most games don't bother with extra content after this long, especially for free.
If you cast your mind back to the original Gran Turismo (assuming you ever played it), the whole point of that game was to work your way up from basic Japanese models by tuning them and racing them and earning etc etc, and its lineup was almost entirely Japanese, bar a few Dodge, Chevrolet, TVR and Aston Martin models sprinkled on the sidelines. I personally quite like this update in terms of cars, especially the GTO, and I love that they're bringing back absolute classics from GT1 and GT2. Although I can't deny it would be nice to have some fresh Gr2, 3, and 4 cars, and maybe GrA, I'm happy we get cars, and I don't really see how free content is such a raging disappointment.

I get that you might be disappointed constantly by these updates, buuut please please stop 'speaking for everyone' and ranting about a company. If you feel so strongly that you know so much better, apply for a job at PD. I'm sure they'd love to have someone so hell bent on creating and providing masses of FREE new content on their side for a change.

I never said I'm speaking for everyone and I could use much harsher language to show my disappointment. It is what it is. I dont get upset at other peoples feelings... bit funny how people get upset at random people as if they're PD shareholders... what do you care? I like PD but I flat out cant feel the need to comment on anyone elses or PD's efforts in any way... not that they care, I'm sure they dont.

You've literally been complaining across multiple posts about PD's efforts (or lack thereof) and used the words "we" and "all of us" in regard to your own opinion.
If that's not what you meant, then don't say it haha

btw. classic immature ignorant response is always...

I dont like this meal, why dont you cook it yourself?

I dont like driving this car, why dont you build you own?

I dont like this track, why dont you pave your own?

You can criticise something without being able to create it.

Imagine if only game devs could criticise games. What absolute nonsense.

I apologise if you're so offended. I mean what else can I do. Do you want me to delete my post.

Its call bombastic writing. Again I'm sorry.
