I never cared for rain in the first place but I've been spoiled by the 24 mins of Le Mans dynamic weather last time so to have just constant rain on A1 ring (which IMO isnt a great track) is just not a disappointment to me... it just nothing.
I think the sentiment is that people expected Spa, the memes, the expectation, the satisfaction its finally here.
And the disappointment and then the utter hilairity of PD's 'bad circumstance' to put it charitably.
They could have at least given us ANY track that they undoubtedly already have made up.
I'm probbly one of the few who believe that like GT5, PD already have a slew of premade tracks, I'm guessing mostly 'originals', which they can drop at any time.
A track isnt made in a month.
They ARE giving "us ANY track that they undoubtedly already have made up." They're giving us Red Bull Ring, with rain, for free, which we all know was already made because it was used in an event a couple of months back and has been refined since, because we also all know "a track isn't made in a month".
I'm convinced that they held off fully completing Spa until they had a license agreement (why bother going the extra mile to full-detail complete something that you legally can't release?) and now they have the go-ahead, refinements will be taking place. I'm inclined to think it can't be included this month because an agreement came too late, and it's a wonder they managed to have it stable and running for World Tour.
I'm not a fan of you framing every complaint you have as if it's the feeling of everyone else and everyone agrees with you (your earlier post "this is all of us right now" quite annoyed me, because Spa is just Spa and this is the exact same non-release that happened with rain last time and everyone survived and nobody sold or destroyed or boycotted over it).
5 JDM cars is fine, especially 2 years after release, when most games don't bother with extra content after this long, especially for free.
If you cast your mind back to the original Gran Turismo (assuming you ever played it), the whole point of that game was to work your way up from basic Japanese models by tuning them and racing them and earning etc etc, and its lineup was almost entirely Japanese, bar a few Dodge, Chevrolet, TVR and Aston Martin models sprinkled on the sidelines. I personally quite like this update in terms of cars, especially the GTO, and I love that they're bringing back absolute classics from GT1 and GT2. Although I can't deny it would be nice to have some fresh Gr2, 3, and 4 cars, and maybe GrA, I'm happy we get cars, and I don't really see how free content is such a raging disappointment.
I get that you might be disappointed constantly by these updates, buuut please please stop 'speaking for everyone' and ranting about a company. If you feel so strongly that you know so much better, apply for a job at PD. I'm sure they'd love to have someone so hell bent on creating and providing masses of FREE new content on their side for a change.
