I've been playing GTS for two years and this car has never come up on that stupid wheel. I consider this the rarest car in the game because you can't do anything specific to win it and it's all about luck to obtain it.. I obviously have no luck.

Ford has discontinued their factory support of the project, so the cars as they have existed will no longer race from next season forward.

There was talk of customer teams, but those have fallen through on the IMSA side. I am not sure whether someone may take up a customer entry at LeMans, but even if they did, it would not be under the Ford liveries.

One would speculate getting support for those specific liveries run by Ford/Chip Gannassi might have a cost that would not occur with a generic livery.

Great fun! The Ford GT is a beast!

The track has been recreated perfectly to me....And thankfully, the gravel traps at the edge of the track don't impede you too much, like they do in PCARS and Assetto Corsa, for example!

I hope we get some good Daily Race combos around there in the next few months!

Other Improvements andAdjustments

- Fixed an issue wherein penalties incurred due to a collision could be transferred to another player in 'Sport' mode and Lobbies. Penalty times have also been adjusted accordingly.
- Various other issues have been addressed.

I’m glad that got fixed, I got a 5 second penalty last week in the manufacturers cup for an incident that happened next to me, I also have got a penalty for being punted into the barrier as a passed a spinning car.

Great Update! Laguna Seca is one of my favorite tracks since the old Gran Turismo games. 👍
The new Ford GT feels perfect there, a bit slippery on hard sports tires but good fun to drive.
Here´s a short 3 laps race against some strong AI enemys in N700 class, I made today!

For some reason there are two versions of the Audi R18. If I remember right the Le Mans version only has scratches and stuff, so nothing different

Actually, I think there is another slight difference. If I remember correctly, the "scratch" Audi car has 0.1 less in acceleration (or something like that). So, that used version is just a tiny bit less fast. I don't have that car to confirm this, but I do remember seeing a pic showing that comparison.

Also - Anorak alert - why is there no black trim around the rear window? Was it like that in certain markets or did they have, maybe, a not fully original car as a reference to model? I've never seen an original Mk1 Golf Gti without the black trim around the rear window. Some tweaking in livery editor will be needed!

Since today, the game is unplayable for me: my wheel (a T-100 FF) reacts (rumbles) on roads like if i was offroad (actually, i feel no difference being off and on track).
I tried to play with settings, including the new rumble setting in the main menu, with no success.

If that’s new, it’s a good idea as that’s basically what you see in VR. Just a blurry thing in front of you when looking straight ahead. Not sure why you’d want it back but most other games have the option to remove it or keep it. Seems like GTS doesn’t.

Laguna is absolutely fantastic. You can actually feel your car struggling with the bumps and camber.

The track also looks spectacular.
