GT Sport's Next Update Arrives This Week, Brings Cars, Tracks, and Rain

No it wasn't, the C6 racecars were made by PD, just like the C7 Gr.3, last time we had a real Corvette racecar was the C5.R from Gran Turismo 3.

The main update /Fix that the game misses/needs is a correct, fair and honest punishing system for incorrect driving behaviour! (Penalization system)

Those other minor updates dont mean a thing without this implemented!

If it actually came to the game, that's probably the max power after fully leveling it up.

Also, consider this, we had a C6R corvette, yet we got a imaginary Gr3 car in GTSport, what's that all about?!?!

Inspired maybe (If you squint hard enough and ignore that all they literally did was Stretch both the Front and rear Fender flares while still keeping the Road car grille and headlights instead of the Proper C6.R ones) but just like the C7 GR.3 Race Car, the C6 RM Race Car is a PD original. The last actual Corvette Race Car that was in the Series (Apart from the Stingray Racer Concept AND the C2 Z06) was the C5-R, which was a generation old carry over from the PS2 days.

...we need more proper racing cars and new grouping for the game.

If you look at the Gr2 or SuperGT cars, the 3 new one are outclassing older models by far, and TBH older models are more as of GT3 cars.

Why exactly? The Older GT500 cars are not equal to GR.3 level performance. Even with the advancement in Tires and everything else, GT3 cars are still not keeping up with the GT500 cars from 2008 thanks to the absurd amounts of downforce those cars have (as well as them being closer to Silhouttes as opposed to Production Based cars). Here's a good real life example for reference:

GT Class Pole Lap from the Asian Le Mans Series At Fuji 2018: 1'37.852 (James Calado, Ferrari 488 GT3)
GT500 Class Pole Lap from Super GT Fuji 500 Km in 2008: 1'34.491(Takashi Kogare, Takata Dome NSX)

Now imagine that being a race. Add those laps up over time and its not even a contest.

Another Example:

2018 Suzuka 10 Hours Pole Lap: 2'01.740 (Nick Foster, Ferrari 488 GT3)
2008 Suzuka GT 300Km Pole Lap: 1'51.163 (Micheal Krumm, Motul Autech GT-R)

Again, no chance.

Aderrrm already confirmed thta the X2019 will be loads of fun!

It's got a V12 for the entertainment value. Everyone loves the sound of them. We're not trying to meet emission regs here.

It also has shorter gear ratios, 1-4.

The car has completely different aero. It has generally lower aero and moves around much more, but with more drag so lower top speeds. Actually really fun to drive. Which is saying something considering the boring the new physics.

Wonder if it's been developed only by PD? 💡
