This two by two start looked so much more realistic. And obviously much fairer. A small but important change. There's one feature from the live event which nobody seems to be talking about, but will be a game changer if/when implemented: revised rolling start.
It looks like instead of single file it was more of a staggered/ double file start? It'll be messy at first, but it should make the daily races & FIA races better. And it'll hopefully eliminate issues where certain tracks start you in the middle of a corner if you're at the back (Le Mans, Suzuka, Catalunya)
I’ll be happy if Kaz’s interview with GTP gives us an indication of how the weather rollout is planned. For this update I’m not expecting anything but Red Bull Ring. Be it cars, tracks, weather or features, I’m prepared to wait. I would just like PD to give us more indication of their update roadmap.I would still be happy if only Nurb. would have rain weather.
Yes it will only be faster from the juniorAnyone know if the x2019 is actually as fast/faster than the old cars? I heard it has no fan mechanism, so surely its slower right?
9.... are you sure...
Most likely the former. I believe them.To add, will Custom Race be able to run all 20 cars or will grid sizes be limited?
There's a lot of pretty girls out there with their respective attributes... but there's the one you fall in love...Then you ve got the wrong game... PC2 has all of that and even more! If you want to see how a variable weather and rain. and.. snow.. and ice tracks. then you have PC2! Ages ahead of GTS! GTS fall behing PC2 in all these fields! The only real difference would be to have a good and easy to join online racing system... Its easy allright.. to join in... but to join i to what??? Al the logic that keeps being implmented to Online Racing in this game is... brainless and unfair! And its very fast once you get into it that you loose all the hope you ve got in getting a good experience on online racing.. the frustation speed is... increased day by day until you simply want to forget that such part of the game exhists!!! And soon you ll find your self putting GTS apart from youd daily games.. and going somwhere else...
PD is negleting the completion off what it claimed at the start to be giving us! A Racing Game dedicated to onine racing with the most realistic pursuit to that target.. A target never achieved and completly widely missed... an missed even more day by day.. . each day it goes.. the more it misses such target... and the more it puts away their "landing" arrows...

Isn't the Redbull X2019 a race car?Cars are disappointing of course for me. Apart from the Toyota the sport 800 one not the redneck truck but man I expected at least a racecar.
But the main star of this update is the rain.
I wonder if all the circuits are getting this rain treatment?
... but then we have the concept of GT Sport being not only PS5 compatible, but also a PS4/PS5 Crossplay game. Will PD making a PS5 GT Sport and keep shovelling content at it and the PS4 version so players can continue to play together? Would that be a Spec 2-like content deluge? And what of the prospect of GT7 being a PS5 launch title?
This brings up a question. Let's assume rain is available on Willow Springs. Does this mean that off the track it will actually be muddy? Or will the track just be wet and the desert will just look the same? PD is pretty good with attention to detail, so I'm thinking the desert should have a wet look to it as well.
Kazunori Yamauchi“[Weather] probably won’t be on all of the tracks. For example, you don’t need weather conditions at Willow Springs,”
Upset is the wrong word, I'm just not interested in any of those 5 cars. Not really sure how anyone can be upset at this list, unless you’re one of those “I only care about hypercars” people. To each their own I guess.
The next PlayStation will be able to play PS4 games. The crossplay option means that people playing GT Sport on PS5 can play against people playing GT Sport on PS4.Because one of my most wanted features for the next game/console is larger grids (30+). If the next game has to run on PS4 and allow crossplay, that won't be possible if some people on the lobby are using a PS4, right?

There has been no word at all about GT7 being a cross-gen game, there is just the rumour that it will be a PS5 launch title. If that's the case, my guess would be a PS5 exclusive GT7.
I played GT6 again yesterday after more than a year... drove in the rain and at night on Nurburgring in a R35 Skyline ... now I hope we get the same in this update , Am I hoping for too much?Hoping there is rain at Night time
In his post, Famine is talking about GT Sport when he is discussing crossplay. There is no word about a PS5 GT game being a cross-gen game.Me and Famine were talking about a PS5 GT game, not GT Sport.

Also, if GT 7 is actually a PS5 launch title, it wouldn't make sense to also release it on PS4 as Sony would want to use it to push PS5 sales.

At one point I had Battlefront 2, GTS and Red Dead installed. I literally only had space for a single 50GB gameThis brings up a question. Let's assume rain is available on Willow Springs. Does this mean that off the track it will actually be muddy? Or will the track just be wet and the desert will just look the same? PD is pretty good with attention to detail, so I'm thinking the desert should have a wet look to it as well.
Also, and I say this tongue in cheek, how many other games am I going to have to delete off the PS4 to make room for this update?
You almost need a separate PS4 just for GTS.
I would say I think it’s more about the quantity, people who have certain cars in their wishlists are running out of time to have them fulfilled and that, especially if the car is a reasonable request, is disappointing to people. We got a little bit of everything quality wise for normal cars. A historic kei car to add to the small list of the ones currently in game, a vintage muscle car, a box car that is great for one-makes, and a truck to compete with the raptor.
Not really sure how anyone can be upset at this list, unless you’re one of those “I only care about hypercars” people. To each their own I guess.
I’m so happy the x2019 is finally coming, though. I’ve wanted to drive that car for so long.
