Famine's words:

That sounds to me like discussing a possible new GT title on the PS5 allowing crossplay with players who have the current game on the PS4.
That wouldn't be a new title, it would be GT Sport with graphical enhancements on PS5. This could be an option if the new GT game isn't a launch title on the PS5.

That depends on how you interpret what a "PS5 GT Sport" is. To me is a new game. If it's not a new game, I see no reason to get the game on the PS5.

I see no point in launching the same game on the PS5 if it doesn't bring new, exclusive features other than better frame rate or loading times. Graphics are already sick on the PS4.

I know im gonna get hated for saying this but....

Just rename the damn game to GT Road now, because thats how it seriously feels now
But it isn't called "GT Racetrack" or "GT Racecars" atm. Also, none of the original race cars in the game have been removed, you can still use and race them.

(I also like race cars way more than road cars, but I just ignore most of the road cars then...)

It's an unpopular opinion on this site but I have to agree with you, considering that we have a championship that revolves completely around GT3 and GT4 racing cars we received way too few cars of said groups. The fact that PD is not pushing to put in game those racing cars is a bit sad.

A free update is always welcome but I really can't get too excited for the car list. Not a massive fan of either vintage muscle cars, old kei cars or pickups tbh. The Clio is the most interesting. Don't even get me started on the fantasy Red Bull x2019. Keep it real PD, throw out the fantasy crap like you did with the crappy Vision GT cars.

Afaik, that "PS5 GT Sport" is just a speculation by Famine.

If they just relaunch GT Sport on PS5, I wouldn't buy it as you can play the PS4 GT Sport on PS5 anyway - that's confirmed by Sony. And you will be able to play with the PS4 GT Sport crowd that way as well - that's also confirmed by Sony.

Yes. And I was wondering about that speculation too.

I know PS4 games will be compatible with the next console.

To the naysayers, did any of you watch the Nations Cup classic car race at Goodwood over the weekend? I mean, that race was really fun to watch and proved, at least to me, that road cars have a very warranted place in this game.

Of course they do. Production car racing is seminal Gran Turismo. Not only that, but Gr.3 and Gr.4 are represented extremely well, and in my opinion, are still in disproportionately high numbers compared to both road cars and the rest of the car list.

This guy is making a lot of noise, but I think you’ll find the majority of GT players disagree with him.

All the sites that reviewed this game at release that gave it an ok score because to gt mode and lack of cars and tracks should really do an updated review. Or maybe they will do it on a complete edition when it releases as greatest hits. As it probably will include updates on a greatest hits version.

Why? Nothing has changed to make the game BETTER. GT League is a joke of chase the rabbit nonsense. All it's had are more cars and tracks to use in not very many useful ways.

There's a lot of pretty girls out there with their respective attributes... but there's the one you fall in love... :embarrassed:

I understand that... believe me... Playing GT since.. GT1!!!

So... you must also know.. even a great marriage and love may finish once expectations are found as totally failed after a significant time...

I agree. Many great up-to-date race cars are missing. But it's free, I guess I can't complain. But I get really annoyed at the focus of these updates.
I think it's more difficult to get current race cars for scanning than some old road cars.

But I would pay an expensive DLC if it would give us something like the current GTE field...

Excited for the X2019 (no, not the Competition version. That stays in FIA and a normal one comes to the game - that is more sensical)

I like chasing the rabbits. I think it’s fun to hit your marks & see the gap drop, especially when the rabbit is way out & you may have a chance of not catching it.

So do I. In Arcade mode. Duplicating that in GT League is the problem. Why add a new mode if it only does the same thing as the old mode?

I played GT6 again yesterday after more than a year... drove in the rain and at night on Nurburgring in a R35 Skyline ... now I hope we get the same in this update :( , Am I hoping for too much?

What’s an R35 Skyline? ;)

I don't understand the demand for an cross gen racing game, because these games in the same series are an natural evolution of the previous titles. I'd rather have an full fledged next gen game.

I say we need more rally cars in the game, mostly the ones from the Dakar rally. It may not attract everyone into the game but it's still a good addition regardless.

...yeah, even those, we sadly have only one rally car, it is old S1 from Group B, there are so many more of them that need to be in game...

I find everything is better now than when it was released. GT League allows you to use a slower car against faster cars, arcade did not do that.

Others remain...

As to getting rain...

By now, PDI should have weather and time-of-day modules. Enough of this piecemeal per track stuff.

As for the Clio...

notice my GT3 multi-car posed avatar image. So old now. :D

Lol i initally didn't buy GT Sport mainly due to the racecar list being more overwhelming compared to road cars, at least on focus.
And being the only GT game on ps4, it was tough.

Have to say though, i'd be happier if they can get more categories rather than just gr.3/4. The infamous Gr.A is alluring to me

Needs just one thing - full psvr support, and im sold.
