3. Class 1 cars are NOT to be used on Class 2 races or vice-versa unless they are on both lists.
4. All cars entered in Class 2 MUST be UNDER 400hp when modded.
5. Class 1 cars may be modded any way you like as long as they conform to rule #2.
5. No HYBRIDS!
6. No cars from the special model lots unless they're on the list. No prize cars. All cars MUST be self-tuned.

If GT2 was not so old, I would say that this would do better in the ORL forum.
I might join, but lets see what peple think of your idea. As for me I think this sounds fun:tup:.

I Love GT2, I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!!👍

All cars must be [R] racing modded and must be on the list below

If I read this right all cars must have Racing Modifcation done.
But some of your cars can't have that done, and one of them is the
Vector W8 Twin Turbo which is sad because I like this car alot:(.

About car to use, I check the car power to weight ratio from my list. It seems XJ220 and silvia is the winner here. Mustang and DB7 looks uncompetitive.

The number after the car name is power to weight ratio, lower is better:

Supra RZ '97 - 3.83

Mazda:
RX7 '98 (All models) - 3.80

Mitsubishi:
3000GT Twin Turbo MR (New car lot) - 4.52
Lancer Evolution '99 (All models) - 4.00

Nissan:
Skyline GT-R V-spec R34 '99 - 3.79

It's possible to ad a Race Mod to the Vector W8, It want have any racing schemes but the Down force will be adjustable!

intake
it depends on how they drive the car :)
It would be very hard though
this is a 1000m time as an example using track tuning:
Supra RZ : 19.263
Mustang SVT 98 : 20.869

Usually 1 second difference in 1000m result in 1 second lap time difference too. so in this case, a mustang SVT may have a 1 second slower lap time compare to Supra RZ. 1 second is a big handicap.

If it not count as hybrid maybe it's ok.

aw... i did the same thing for the whole morning. power to weight ratio wise, the Jags are very impressive. on the other hand, handling is very important as well. take them to red rock valley and test them on those long sweeping corners. they can easily be beaten by an FR which has much sharper turning circle. i guess the track we will be racing at will be the defining factor for this competition. shall we decide, or be informed on which track we'll be racing at before we choose our cars? or better still, we vote for one car, one track. that should be very challenging coz no one is able to take advantage over anything.

I think I will try those, Supra vs XJ220 in RR valey

edit:
done, just playing around with safe tuning.
1:03.xxx in XJ220
1:09.xxx in supra

The weakness of supra is less downforce (99 vs 85), heavier (2588 vs 2841), less power (945 vs 741), and less grip (smaller tire 26.5 vs 24.5) . Slower in straight, much slower in corner.

For redrock valley, I must choose XJ220. Maybe any other track too.

All of the cars in class 1 can be modded any way you like. And I forgot about racing modding. I'm editing the rules, so you don't have to racing mod the car. And remember that in class 1 they can be fully modded. If its not a bother I ask that if you can, please send me the cars horsepower rating in your entry.

Are there any time limit for submitting? I want to test the car that I want to use first.

can I use PAL arcade disc?

No time limit. Yes, you can use the PAL arcade disc.

I got to this forum a bit late, but anyways I'm in. It looks like you guy's did a lot of the researching but I'll do some on my one. I'll start tomorrow; It's 1:11 a.m. in my time zone.
