As the winner of Week 2 Poll, franz has chosen to specify a theme for this week's competition. So, away we go....


The Theme: Dirt/gravel or snow/ice tracks only. However, please remember that the concept of art is your own

The cars: Unlimited

The tracks: Dirt/gravel OR snow/ice

How it's done:

Entries will be posted in this thread. Please view ALL the entries using the ImageShack thumbnail and rate the entry using the rating scale under the picture. Please rate ALL entries, even if you don't like them. The entry period for this competition will end on Friday evening (approx. 6 pm US CDT GMT-5). No more entries will be accepted after the entry period has closed. The rating of the entries will continue through Sunday evening. Only entries that have had 10 or more users rate their entry will be eligible for the final poll. The Top Ten rated pictures will then be placed into a poll on Sunday evening and the poll will run for 5 days. If a theme is desired it will be chosen by that week's winner.

The Rules:

There aren't many so listen up.

• You may only use background scenery, cars, trucks, SUVs or race cars that are in GT4.
  
• You may use as much or as little Photoshop (or other editing software) as you like. The idea is to CREATE a picture/photo that would/could be considered artistic.
  
• REMEMBER that everyone has a different idea of what is artistic and what isn't. So absolutely NO FLAMING someone for what they consider art.
  
• An entry consists of a "Thumbnail for Forums 1" from ImageShack AND a preview MUST be included with your entry. Max size for the preview is 400x300.
  
• You may not ask to have the members of this forum to make your final choice.
  
• Failure to follow ALL the rules may result in disqualification.
  
• That's it.

I have two entries but i cant decide which to enter. Its about time for sleep, i just hope i can decide and enter before time is up.

Well, I'm a little disappointed by the lack of participation this week. Maybe it's because of spring break? Maybe because Easter is right around the corner? Maybe it's the way the poll is chosen? Maybe it's because this week is themed? Maybe people have just lost interest?

Not even 300 views yet and only a handful of entries. What happened in a week's time? In an effort to help build up the entries this week, the deadline will be extended to 00 hour tomorrow (that's about 13 hours from now).

it was giving me a hard time... I would rate them but they wouldn't update (on IE)... then all of a sudden, they all did... magic!

i thought i was the only one having problems rating ... the picture would load but it didnt look like it was taking my rating. i just thought it was my crap connection.

Something is jacked up on image shack. I checked my pic a few minutes ago and it said 3 people had voted and it was like 7.6 or something, now it says 11 people have voted and its 9.13. Not that i'm complaining if that many people really did vote, but I think the whole thing is just messing up or something. But if not, thanks alot for all the votes guys!
