It's because in real life, that car has an automatic transmission. A number of other cars do that as well. It's realistic, but unnecessary.
I haven't seen that tachometer bug before, but I'll buy the cars mentioned and I'll see if the bugs work 👍
It's a lot simpler if you just go to Arcade mode and race in one of the JGTC cars. You'll most likely get a full field of JGTC's (if the M3 GTR Race Car comes in, select again). Then in the replay mode, constantly keep on switching cars and the tachometer's revline on the cars won't show.
C-ZETAEDIT: Also, (sorry if this has been mentioned) has anyone noticed that in the Like the Wind race (and the Like the Wind race only) that the 905 and XJR9's stats have been completely swapped around, so the Jag is the one with the ultra-slow gear changes and the 905 is one of the threats? Wonder if it was a major programming error. And I'm not sure if it happens in the NTSC versions, since my versions PAL.
I was playing the GT championship and i tried entering with my caddish Cien but i couldn't. So i got in with my Merc SL AMG. Guess what the AI brought? A Cadillac Cien.

In the Penzoil Nissan Skyline race car, there is no redline in the roof and bumper view on Laguna Seca

Well I just want to share with you guys one thing, which I believe most of the GT4 players notice this.
I was on for a 2 laps race on the Nordschleife with my 330i and set to +10 difficulty. Before the start of the race, when the computer turns the car to the right on the last corner of the circuit, it hits the fence on the right. Just like the car accidentally turn too early. It also did the same with my M5, and Audi S4 also to nearly all of my cars. Is this actually happening only to the PAL version or also to the NTSC??
Thanks..
Check through the previous 5 or so pages of this thread,it has been mentioned countless times. It happens in all versions.
On a side note this is the main reason i don't want damage in GT5

All 6 cars do it (including yourself in b-spec, otherwise 5) just about every time in any race at the ring. No matter what car.
Also try to find Skyline GT-R R33 LeMans Limited version. Car power is around 300s hp without 276 limits.
You'll also notice this guideline is part of the reason the Japanese were able to focus on small-engine technology to make their cars reliably quick and fuel-efficient (thru use of variable valve technology and other methods), without having to rely on absolute pure horsepower.
