Regarding the Mustang: I wouldn't do the Medium tires, because then you can't officially restrict everyone else to Hard tires. Sure you can catch someone cheating by watching the replay, but do you want to deal with it?

you are right but, there isn't a other way to let the fat Mustang compete with the other giants.

You can check before the race but unless someones in the lobby there's nothing stopping someone from picking up mediums on a pit stop.

Btw following turbo over from fmsc :)

GTP_SOHNVONSTIG - undecided until final roster of cars is decided :)

I hear you about the pit stops. Cheers I'll add you to the list!

We can still do teams if two guys want to run the same car in the same color.

Yep that's fine but it's not going to be anything official like team standings. 👍

Regarding Aston Martin: There is a V8 Vantage in the game, but it's a standard car. It would be interesting to see how it does though.

Regarding the Mustang: I wouldn't do the Medium tires, because then you can't officially restrict everyone else to Hard tires. Sure you can catch someone cheating by watching the replay, but do you want to deal with it?

I think I'm going to stick with the Z. :)

I think the standard V8 Vantage is too heavy to be honest. :P

The mustang and mediums: decisions, decisions. I've made a tune for it on mediums, so tomorrow I'll make it for one with hards. Then we'll see how fast the mustang has to be on the straights to stay competitive. If someone did swap to mediums in a pit stop, they would just get the boot for the next race anyway. :P But I think I'm swaying towards hards.

It really depends. If someone wants to cheat, then deal with them appropriately. I hope that we would all be smart enough to not cheat. I understand, but surely, you would notice the difference in lap times on the replay. Its hard to hide 2.5 seconds a lap.

You can see what tires people are running by watching the replay.

I've added your car and colour to the list. Hopefully your internet will be fine for the race. :)

Hey Pag. That's the idea! :D It should finish at around 18:00 BST depending on how long the race will be set at (40-60 minutes).

It would be good if you could try as many as cars as you can out, so that you can give me feedback on what cars need making faster or slower. 👍 As for tips, hmmm... well I know you don't like front tyre wear so I wouldn't choose the Mustang. That's not to say that it has really bad front tyre wear and no one should use it though. :D

To the people that haven't yet, could you please tell me the colour of the car you will be racing with. Thanks.

i might go with the Maserati GranTurismo S is it just stock? because i dont see any upgrades etc on it

anyway battery gunna run out on laptop so going bed, il read up tomoz and test a few

I'll have to let you know about the color tonight when I build my car.

Edit: and how does the 370Z sound with the semi-racing exhaust? I'm one of those people that chooses exhaust on sound, not HP numbers...

I haven't put up the upgrades for the Evora, Mustang or GranTurismo S yet.

I've given all cars the best sounding exhausts and then worked HP around that. 👍 I knew there was something I missed out in the OP. The 370z though does sound pretty nice with the Semi-Racing.

Some cars I left at stock exhaust because they needed to be power limited and if there was more HP gained through a better exhaust, the power curve would be even flatter (for example the Corvette). The M3 sounded awful at stock, so I gave it a sports exhaust even though I had to power limit it (although it didn't need power limiting as much as the vette).

Off to watch some TV... see you all tomorrow.

Mine's exactly as the Z4 on Page 1. 👍

Had a chance to take the Z4 for a spin around Rome. What a fun little car! The only thing I need to watch out for is the brakes because the rear end gets very happy on me I'm in not braking straight.

Is the 493pp on the 370Z with it fully broken in? Mine is only at 483pp with all mods installed. Also, what's the word on Chassis Reinforcement?

I noticed that too. I like rear brake bias aswell.

I don't know how I've done this, but I've accidentily allowed windows weight reduction instead of the carbon hood. That's not the problem about you being 10 pp less, but it's an inconvenience to you. So do you want me to send you my 370z which has stages 1+2 weight reduction + carbon hood? I'm assuming yours has both stage weight reductions and windows weight reduction whch is 5kg less overall. The weight of the car should be 1310kg and 1305kg. Sorry about that.

But yes, mine is 493 pp fully broken in. Somehow, I'd missed out the Sports exhaust manifold and Catalytic converter. :dunce: All the mods for each car should be correct now. I've also removed the windows weight reduction and carbon hood from the M3's mods. If you had already applied these mods to your M3, let me know and I'll send you my M3.

I would think it would be safe to say it's allowed. Chassis reinforcement is allowed.

I've added all this to the OP.

Tested out my car, I want to share my time on the track to see where I am compared to others. I don't really know if I should, though. (might make it easier for me.) Now all I pretty much have to do is wait.

Nice, at Rome? You're free to post your times. :)

I've done the tunes for the Maserati and Evora (although the Evora is really good in the corners and not too good on the straights). If one car ends up being too fast, 30 kg of ballast will sort them out. ;) I'm just sorting out a tune for the Mustang on hards. I'll post all 3 tunes up in a while and I'll share my lap times I've done with each car at Suzuka. 👍

6 spots left for Saturday's race!

Aderrrm, sorry fro not comming back to the room. I went to back up my game save, and then I had to attend to Real Life Stuff.. :scared:

But I might be able to race this Saturday. Not sure yet, but probably. I'll let you know when I can tell. If you got a spot left that is. I obviously don't want to take up a spot if a regular want to race.

That's no problem Dennis. :D If there is a spot free on Saturday, just make sure you have the right mods added to your car. You probably will but I'm just warning you. :P

---

The tunes for all of the cars are now up! Try them out, let me know what you think. 👍

Remember the specs of my cars are with full engine break-in, and that occurs after 200 miles of driving OFFLINE. Miles are not added to your car by driving online. You should also oil change regularly.

Thanks for the clarification on the mods. I'll just buy another car tonight as I did the Honda seasonals last night and made some extra money.

I did run some laps last night in my lounge and managed a 1:14.1xx I believe. Although that might not be correct, and with a car not up to spec...

Sorry about that. Well I just did a quick lap around Rome to guage how many laps we would be doing in the race and I was driving the 370z aswell lol, I did a 1:13.6 so it sounds right. 👍

Race length has been decided at 40 minutes. You can only pit for tyres during the pit window, which will be specified before each race. The pits open on a certain lap and close around 10 minutes later on a later certain lap. An example:

A lap of 1:36 (or 96 seconds) can be set at Nurburgring GP/D. If we want the race to last 40 minutes (2400 seconds), we take 2400/96 = 25 laps. The laps however will be set to 26 to account for the formation lap. The pit window should be open for 10 minutes and 6 laps is the closest amount of laps to 10 minutes. 25-6 laps = 19 laps either side of the pit window. Because of the odd number due to the formation lap, the pit window would open on lap 10 of the race (meaning you can enter the pit on lap 10) and close on lap 16 (meaning the last time you can enter the pit is on lap 15). This way you can enter the pits on lap 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 = 6 laps.

I'm also about to add the cost of buying and adding the mods to each car.

No one else want to sign up?

I'm interested, i'm doing some test right now before choosing my car...i'm between the vette and the M3

Good stuff. 👍

I still need the car colours from RT and Ghova. No rush, just a reminder. :)

hello again guys, i was busy today but now i can finally post my Colours it will be the same as in the first post yellow :)

Edit: the race time 17:15 BST fits my schedule perfectly if this still remains i am able to do the entire season :):):).

Thanks. Although remember that you need to be in the room 10 minutes before Qualifying starts at 17:00 BST. That's good news though. :)

I would like to sign up for this Adam. I think I'll pick the Evora, but I don't know yet. Have to do some testing first.

It will be tough to make it every week though. IDOR, TCR, WSGTS, WRS, OMRS and this.

Hey wge. We've already got 2 Evoras so it would be nice if you could pick a different car whilst you are testing, but if you really want to you can pick the Evora. 👍

That's no problem. There's only 5 race days in this championship, and your lowest scoring round will be dropped. Also, the whole thing only lasts 1 and a half hours unlike WSGTC which takes up quite a bit more time per week. :P

Ah, that's a shame. I really like Lotuses. And I don't have much time for testing, WSGTC on friday and I have no time to get on the PS3 today.

I think I'll go for the Corvette C6 then (or also too much participants with C6 :nervous:).
