Ah, that's a shame. I really like Lotuses. And I don't have much time for testing, WSGTC on friday and I have no time to get on the PS3 today.

I think I'll go for the Corvette C6 then (or also too much participants with C6 :nervous:).

Ah right. Well seeing as you really like Lotuses you can use the Evora. :sly: The Corvette is free too so it's your choice. Make sure to give me your car colour aswell. 👍

Not sure the name of the color, but it's the stock Red.

That will be Vibrant Red (C). :D That's quite bad how I know that...

Hey Aderrrm can you send me the tune setup for the Evora that you made?

I'll PM you it when I get back on my PS3 in a bit. I like a quite agressive car so it might not be of much use. :P

I've added some more information on the Weight Ballast Section. If you're unsure about how it works then let me know. I've also added information about Qualifying.

Then I'll use the corvette. I just don't like understeery cars. I thought I had to use the color stated on the first page. Should I PM you?

- PSN-name: GTP_w-g-e
- Car: Chevrolet Corvette C6
- Car color: Gold chrome

You don't have to use the colour on first page, but it would keep things authentic to the real GT4 Cup if you did. Then again the GT4 Corvette is blue, yellow and white so it really doesn't matter. :P You can post your colour here when you've decided. Personally I think the blue on that Corvette looks good so check if you have that exact paint chip (from an M3) but it's up to you. :)

EDIT: Erm would you mind using a different colour to Gold Chrome? Sorry for being picky for that thing hurts my eyes.

I'll check if I have that blue color. The reason I picked that color is because I don't know the names of the color chips I have.:embarrassed:

FUUUU my I'm getting low 1:15s on Rome :( looks like I'm not beating anyone this race...

To be honest yoman, in my opinion the Camaro is the second best handling car after the Evora. So in the race, I think you will be able to keep with people with the slipstream on the straights. 👍

4 spots left!

Yeah, that's something I don't understand about that car. The Mustang, although a lot lighter and with more power, is still a lot slower than the Camaro. :grumpy:

Im in the same boat with the M3. I havent played with the suspension though, so there will be a little more left.

Yeah play with it man, i'm at 1:14 low with the m3..and it was just a very fast setup.

I noticed that too. I like rear brake bias aswell.
I like it as well but it's more than I would like it so I went with a 5/4 brake bias. It is providing more stability but I need to be careful not to lock up the brakes and plow into the wall. :dunce:
I did run some laps last night in my lounge and managed a 1:14.1xx I believe. Although that might not be correct, and with a car not up to spec...
I believe my fastest lap last night was a 1:13.2xx but this was offline. I'll need to see if I can duplicate that time online.

I always test my online cars in my lounge to make sure the setup matches the online physics. An offline tune could be great until you go online and it's totally different. :grumpy:

You can have ABS on you know. :D

Right, with all the tunes done for the cars, I thought I would try out the Evora (the best handling car) and the Mustang (the best car in a straight line) on Madrid, a track which would suit the Evora and Monza, a track which would suit the Mustang.

At Madrid with a few hot laps in each car, there was less than a tenth between them. The Mustang was 0.5 faster in the first sector (the straight down to the hairpin) but lost 2 tenths in sector 2 and 3 tenths in sector 3. The Mustang does have really bad tyre wear though, whereas the Evora is the best of the bunch on it's tyres. I then also tried the 370z which is average on corners and average on straights, and that was 0.026 behind the Mustang's time after 3 laps. I thought this was so amazing I would share it with you lot. :D Unfortunately at Monza, the Mustang was a clear 2 seconds ahead of the Evora.

However I don't want to change the Evora's or Mustang's tune. Some cars will suit some tracks more than others, just like in the real GT4 European Cup. The Mustang will have to take it easy on it's tyres though and when there's slipstream in the race at Monza, I think the Evora could hold on to the pack but probably won't keep up with the Mustang. You never know though, it might!

Mine is set to 1. What I meant to say is that it is possible for me to lose braking effectiveness when applying full brake and mess up the corner. At least, that happens to me often enough that I happen to brake somewhat early and I end up getting bumped from behind. :indiff:

I've just done 3 laps with Mustang and 3 laps with the 370z at Rome. Mustang is 3 tenths faster in the first sector, but loses it in the last 2 sectors. Mustang ends up doing a 1:12.4, 0.086 faster than the 370z at the line but again, hurts its tyres more in doing so.

I'll be sending reminder PM's tomorrow about the race on Saturday.

Anyone can still sign up, 4 spots left!

Exactly how it is for me as well. 👍

Saturdays at noon, eh?

Awesome.

- Maserati GranTurismo S

Okay, so I'm gonna go with my "trademark" Blu Cosmo Metallizzato.

The Enkei wheels you want me to put on it come in Silver Chrome straight from GT Auto, so I'll have my traditional race car colours all set :)

You want to team up with me? I will probably change the colors around to replicate the main BMW team in Grand-Am, Turner Motorsport. Two heads are always better than one.

Oh cool, i'm in. :sly:
Add me, but i'm not playing right now

Sweet. The colors are yellow and blue. The body will be Fuoco Giallo and wheels are WR Blue Mica. I have at least 3 of each chip also, if you need either of them.

1:12.4?! Now I feel slow again. :ill:

Just tested my Z4 online and it feels the same. A pleasant surprise. :)
