I got a real good one.

How can you make your car shift from 1st gear, to 4th gear, while skipping 2nd and 3rd gear, using an automatic transmission? This one is tough... (Hint: It has nothing to do with redlining...)
Does it have something to do with the ability to stay in gear by holding down the R2 button? Probably not, as that would cause you to redline. Hmmm... good question.

Does it involve screwing with the tranny so 4th gear is lower than second? I've done it before with the Lotus Esprit on accident, but I've never checked it out in auto mode.

I believe it could be done by using e-brake as well, since it drops the revs and gearbox goes on neutral..

Loen, that is non-applicable. When you do that, you still see the gear shift changing as you gain speed even on nuetral with auto. Hint: It happened when I fiddled with the auto ratio thing after I did the tranny trick.

What car can have more downforce in the front than a Group C car? I bought this thread up since there is no need to make 2 threads about one topic.

WRT question 11 (about the TT), that's not a strange thing (like the other questions in this quiz) and it does not "appear" to be 4WD, it actually is 4WD but just like it's real counterpart, because of the HALDEX differential used in it's transmission, it drives like a FWD car 90% of the time.

But it is 100% FF until you get a VCD, that is why when you hold the handbrake, the front wheels keep spinning. It isn't 90%... Maybe IRL yes, but in GT4, no.

I meant 90% of the time not 90% FWD. IRL it is 100% FWD most of the time and in certain circumstances only it is AWD. From the way it works I imagine IRL too if you held the handbrake it would keep spinning the front wheels.

lol i was going to say the Voltz at an instance but then i remembered seeing the toyota logo on it

LOL, *****!

I checked Wikipedia after seeing your response. Apparantly the A310 didn't receive a V6 until later in it's life. In Gran Turismo 4 it shares the I4 with the A110.

D'oh!:ill:

LOL, I know right?

At least we did get the correct answer. I bumped it because I'm curious about the answers to some of the other unanswered questions.

Looking at the first post, all of them have been answered. There are some questions throughout the thread that aren't in the first post that are unanswered though.

This is a great thread. As much GT4 as I've played, I could only answer like 3 of the questions off the top of my head. :dunce:

The Answer to 19 would be RUF.. Seeming as they are really close to Porsches, but don't have the correct branding. I also suspect another car of looking a bit like a Lamborghini.. Can't remember the Brand in game or what it's called, from my Lack of game play in the past year. I think it's a Spanish car.. But ah well, can't be bothered to look through all of the pages, and find out what the other people have said.. seeming as it's almost 11, and I can't sleep. - Rambles on a little longer.. LOL.

Nope - they're Rufs and have Ruf badging.

You're thinking of the Italian Cizeta V16T which exists in the real world also as the Cizeta Moroder V16T. It's not a Lamborghini.
