So...i'm just now about 89% through the game...and I figure out that on B-Spec races, I can view the race X3.

Sure it'll still help me seeing as I have like 10 endurance races or something to do.

But that sure would have helped me in the past...

A quick question:

Where is the Route 5 circuit located? Since it's in with the City tracks, I assume it's based on an actual route 5 somewhere, but it doesn't say where it is...do we know?

As with SS Route 11 (GT1 & GT3), people have tried to find it, but failed. It looks as though it's an original circuit, but in a City Circuit style.

SS Route 11 bore striking similarities to Yokohama, Japan, with the Rainbow Bridge, and giant ferris wheel that were visible. I only spent a day in Yokohama though, so I'm not at all familiar with the road layout to know if it's accurate at all, or just a game developer's fantasy. I'd assume the same about SSR5 too.

This is a tad off topic, but, how do you find out what your username and password for the game guides are if you've forgotten them? I'd done nothing on GTP for a month, so i'm not surprised i forgot!

Never mind. I worked it out.

I'm going for 80 golds now, got to 24 Gs and 56 Bronze. Can't get Gold on the Audi at Tsukuba at the end of National B though. Having raced in LANs, trying to fine tune GT4 to my liking is quite tough.

a question to ponder.:nervous:

is there anyway the 80 gold licence list can be updated to include the new members that were trying their heart out to join, only to be told that the person who was controlling the thread is no longer looking after it :(.

i have seen quite a few members putting their details in the page, only to not have the list updated.

it's just that the 100,000 / 111,813 list is updated.

if not i guess we will just have to suffice.:indiff:

thanks in advance to anyone who responds. :) 👍

I look at it like this. If you have 80 gold, than you know that you have accomplished something great. It doesn't matter if you are in a fancy club. Its the fact that you feel a sense of accomplishment.

How's this for an idea. The 100000 Club is updated by AMG in post 222, so how about I make use of post 521 in the 80 License Golds thread by editing in all the new members since CFM's last update? I'm not promising to continue updating into the future (though I probably will for a while), but it will bring the list up to date.

Woo yeah, just completed the Circuit De La Sarthe 1 24hr race meaning I finally got 100% after about a year of not trying.

you are a legend my friend. 👍👍👍👍

I need help, bad. I'm judging the Tuner Challenge and there is a second hand car there that happens to be extremely rare, so long story short I now need to waste 300 in game days, what's the quickest way to do this?

Go to the license center, enter the first test, and when it shows up, click the 'Next Test' button. Keep doing that and you can get like 10 days in a minute or so. I'm pretty sure this is the fastest way to run through days.

Cool, so I won't have to do the test or anything, that's a big help thankyou.👍👍

I haven't really had much time to play games over the past two years as I've been away at university, and when I'm home it's usually Final Fantasy X or XII that's spinning in my PS2. Since I've finished the former and I'm at an impasse in the latter (hours of power-levelling to be able to get the final few hunts and the last Esper don't appeal to me; nor does finishng the game without completing everything), I decided to erase my GT4 save and start the game again.

And once I got racing, it occured to me just how bad a driver I am. I have a tendency to dive as deep into the corners as possible - usually down the inside - and cut another driver off before swinging back around as quickly as I can to steal the racing line back. I know it's been done before in proper racing, but it still feels ... dirty. I'm trying for a much cleaner style, but I'm having trouble winning the early races even when they're only 40-50 points (I put that down to the circuits being very confined with no really places where I can consistently pass the bad guys).

It's really kind of weird.

I will start at Nurburgring 24 hours race. What is you recommend as car. I have right now: Mercedes CLK-GTR, Toyota Minolta Car, Nissan R92 as top cars as speed. Which one has been tyre endurance ? What is your recommend ?
or: I can money save up at Costa D'Amalfi and I can buy Peugeot 905 or Toyota GT-ONE or Pescarolo V6 or Pescarolo V10 LeMans cars too.

Don't buy the 905. There's so much lag between shifts that you've got enough time to do anything but cook a roast between them. It's that bad.

As for which car to use, I'd recommend the Mercedes. It's not as powerful as the other two, but the 'Ring is murder on hyper-powered cars ike the Minolta. The Mercedes is powerful enough to drive circles around the competition whilst still being tame enough to stay on the black bit.

ok " Do you race" . I will try tonight Mercedes CLK-GTR with hard slick front tyres / super hard slick rear tyres.

Nurburger 24hrs, bhadra, you don'y need a high powered car for that they only use DTM machines and the such, just get a Corevette C5.R or something in that race class, easier to control, still kills opponents.

Better still than the Corvette, is a GT500 JGTC car. They're basically silhouette racers so they're as close to perfection as an ordinary looking car can be.

The later the better, the best picks are the yellow Takata NSX, the red Xanavi Skyline, and the turquoise Woodone Supra. The Motul Z belongs to the group too but you'll win one later on (I assume you haven't done the JGTC in the Japanese Hall yet) so don't waste money on it.

are you sure ? I'm talking about Nurburgring track. There will be LeMans cars? or the game will choose enemy cars than my car ? I mean if I choose weak powered car; the game will choose weak powered car?

They're usually just touring cars that compete, like the BMW you win from clearing the second German championship ("Liga B", I think) in the Euopean Hall or the ASL Arta Gariya.

Complete AI Pit strategy guide for the 16 Endurance Races.
Have a look in that thread.
Not only does it list the 15 possible (16 if you're in the PAL region, which you are, being in Turkey) cars that your opponents will be selected from for this race, which are more or less all DTM and JGTC 300 cars, but it also tells you when you can expect them to pit. 👍
Oh, and it has the same information for the other 15 endurance races too! :D
