I think that that would be cool instead of just "used car lot 1" Or "used Car lot 2" ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

So In The mission Hall to I have to do all of the missions up to that number or just the ones listed? Like 1-10 or does just 11-20 get you the tank car?
Mission Hall
Mission 1-10: DMC DeLorean S2 '04
Mission 11-20: JAY LENO Tank Car '03
Mission 21-24: PAGANI Zonda Race Car '01
Mission 25-29: TOYOTA 7 Race Car '70
Mission 30-34: NISSAN R89C Race Car '89

The only mission you have to do first is mission 1, (or else you may get the mission bug which will never allow you to get 100% completion)
Once you have done Mission 1, you can then do 11-20 to get the Tank Car
Or you can just do 21-24 to get the Pagani.

Enjoy M34 :sly:

Does anyone know where to find no nitro lap times for all the tracks and what car it was done with and who drove it?

I've looked and looked and I can't seem to find it, I'm probably passing over something obvious but hidden.

If there isn't one, I'm going to start one.

Anyways, the question I have is are you able to select the black cars like the 787B in arcade mode when you buy them from the used car lot in GT Mode? Because if they are that would be cool , I don't play arcade mode, in fact never touched it, but if someone has the answer to my question it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
VANDENAL.

@maverickfe: Don't know about that, could be a power supply problem.

RE: 200 mph: If you're driving at La Sarthe, that's normal.

RE: Non-nitro lap times. I think most people set laptimes without.

RE: Black cars: It's been so long, I don't really know.

RE: GT4 vs. GT5: There are some tracks that are not in GT5. If you truly enjoy tracks such as Infineon, El Capitan and Citta d' Aria (they are truly enjoyable tracks) then yes, it's worth it. But apart from those three tracks and more single player races, there's not really that much reason to go back.

I'd disagree with you on Citta d'Aria being enjoyable. It's as annoying as hell trying to watch out for those little walls jutting out into the road. :ouch:

If you're racing with a full-on racing car with over 300 hp, Citta d'Aria just plain sucks.

If you're looking to enjoy one of the 700 other cars in the game, there are very few tracks that will give a common road car a decent challenge.

Most race tracks are just too damn wide for a street car with under 300 hp. You will find yourself more often than not rowing along, clipping apexes and never ever getting to the curbs on the outside of corners even under full power.

Citta d' Aria is a delight to drive with road cars. It's even better with minicars, where those tight esses flow like gravy. Downhill into that insane long left-right kink taken at nearly 100 mph in a small car, just skirting the walls? It's one of the few times in GT4 (aside from driving the Ring in an Escudo) that you will actually know fear... :D

I've also found that you can actually enjoy some of George V and Opera with small, low-powered cars... particularly the back-streets portions. Still doesn't put them on my list of "liked" tracks, though. Citta... well... it holds a special place in my heart.

I made the mistake of putting a lotus esprit down the Citta di italia- not a good idea! Epic oversteer without ASM and with no option to tune the suspension ( reached my favourites limit) the car is useless! Got first on Sarthe tho!

MOAR understeer.

But seriously, less detailed snap-oversteer physics and car movement, lots of weirdness resulting from the "glue car to track" script, and a whole boatload more events. If you're playing on the PS2 and not the PS3, get yourself an extra memory card. Helps you duplicate cars that you like so that you can have several copies set up for different races and scenarios in different states of tune.

Have fun playing with the huge rim selection.

Thanks, yea its on the ps2. One thing you didnt mention is that its a lot harder to get anywhere credit wise! Been playing 3 days and still only got one car, a used honda civic 1500!

I'm trying to find a PS2. I've found a Slim and Fat for the exact same price on eBay. Which one should I get? They both come with the same things. Thanks!

I would recommend you a fat one. It may be not that mobile but so far, I've never experience any big problems apart from the laser stopped working after 6 years and by far the most reliable. The slim one from my friends experience overheats easily and always have problem reading the discs. Even if you get the extra cooling fan, it wouldn't work...

I had both, the fat and the slim one. My fat PS2 lasted for about 6 years - the laser stopped working. I bought a slim PS2 almost two years ago and never had any problems with it. It never overheated or became warm, not even after a long A-Spec 24 hours race at the Nรผrburgring. So far, it always read any disc, but the reason for this positive feedback can very well be that it is still fairly new. ;)

Ah. Well I have two contrasting replies. I could do with one more user's answer to actually give me an answer. I am, however, leaning towards getting a slim one, as it is newer. Although I'll get no disc drawer. :(

Hi guys.. i se that there are more folowers of gt4.. nice.. my self will try to play that game again.. because of this game i started to folow gt series.. but gt5 disapointed me, i mean im already over whit it.. it makes no sense, whit gt4 it was hard time to get even to 80%.. so il try to play it again whit big smile on my face..:)

So my question is how much is a difference in physics bettwen gt4 and gt5..?

So my question is how much is a difference in physics bettwen gt4 and gt5..?

Very. I can't exactly say because I personally don't know what was done with the game, but I can say that it took me a while to learn how to drive in GT5 even though I was an OK GT4 driver.

I have discovered that gameplay is a lot harder in gt4! Those easy gt5 races (clubman cup etc ) are quite tough in gt4! I still have to win a race in that series- not even the excellent Motul Civic I won will nail it- the AI cars are always more pokey. I have a Impreza now tho and its got real tuning potential!
